CHAPTER 24

Becca's point of view

I woke up in bed. I look around to check where I am. It's a small room. No window just one door. It has no furniture at all. Only this bed is a small desk on the side.

But the feeling is weird it's like we're moving?

Luckily I'm not tie or any.

I hold my belly.

"Hold tight baby we need to escape" I said

The door opened and a man came in. He grabbed me on my wrist. It's so tight that I think it will be bruised.

He brought me outside and I was surprised to see that we were on a ship. That's why it looks like we're moving in the room.

We're in the middle of the sea. I see her grandfather sitting.

"Let's see what sarocha will do when she loses you" he said

"Oh for God sake! You're insane! If you really love sarocha you won't do this to her. This is her child!. How could you kill your great grandchildren but I guess you're immune about it you even killed your own son!" I said shouting at him

His aura changes. He stands up and holds his gun.

"What if I shoot you right now and blow that mouth of your attorney?" He said pointing me to the gu#n

"You it's all your fault! Sarocha is content when you still do not appear in her life. But it happens that you open that fucking case which has been closed a long time ago. Maybe nothing of this will happen! She won't step down as the mafia queen who always had been our legacy! Even my wife died because of it!" He said

"Have you asked yourself before saying that to me!? You stole my father's life! You framed him just to hide the truth! You're the true monster! Your wife died and you didn't even bother to go in her wake?!" I said again

"Now I'm giving you the last chance attorney! You will leave sarocha or I will kill you and that child?" He said

"Do you think sarocha will be happy if you kill me and this child? Are you not tired of making your grand daughter's life miserable and leaving all alone?!" I said but I hugged my belly protecting my child from him.

Oh sarocha where are you we need you now. Please come on time..

He even got pissed off by what I said.

"You're really testing my patience attorney. I give you the chance but you still choose this route." He said

He pointed the gun to me. I know he's gonna pull that trigger without hesitation.

"Say hi to me to your father" he said smiling

I closed my eyes while still protecting my baby.

I heard a loud sound of the gun. And then I waited for it to come on me. But I didn't feel anything.

What I felt was a warm hug? I opened my eyes to see. It was sarocha. She covered me up from the shot.

"Sarocha why.." I said crying she's bleeding.

"Becca.. don't worry don't cry.. it's just a minor injury okay. I get worse than this but I survived" she said jokingly so I won't cry.

But how can I not cry seeing her being shot and bleeding?

I don't know what happened anymore all I know is that a helicopter came and carried sarocha inside it.

They accompany us both.

"Please save sarocha" I said in the nurse with us in the helicopter. She's doing the first aid for sarocha.

"Ma'am you should calm down and the baby will be stressed. She's going to be fine" she said
