I loved my sisters.

We had always been so close and we still are.
Sometimes, we just go into one of our rooms and just stay up all night talking and watching movies.

It's great!

But, I've been keeping a lot hidden from them.

A few months ago, I was kidnapped by Dreykov during a failed mission and I was missing for two months. During that time, I was succumbed to all forms of torture and emotional manipulation.
Once I was found, I admitted the details that were key to taking down the Red Room but never more than that. That place hurt me and I have been in a dark place ever since but I refuse to admit to them or myself; I feel that asking for help just shows how weak and helpless I am.

I was sitting on the roof of the Avenger's tower when my sisters came to find me.

I was gazing out at the view, completely lost in my thoughts; I didn't even hear them come over to me.

"You alright?" Natasha asked and placed a hand against my shoulder.

I flinched and looked up, fear immediately in my eyes.
I smiled as I saw my sisters and they sat down next to me as I immediately replaced the 'I'm fine' mask.

They glanced at each other and I knew they had spotted my initial reaction of fear and terror.
I just couldn't hide it.

"Y/N?" Natasha said again.

"Hmm?" I looked at her with a big fake smile. "Sorry, what did you say?"

"She said, are you alright?" Yelena said with a small yet concerned smile.

"I'm fine." I chuckled, like I'm finding their worry completely misplaced and silly.

"Talk to us." Natasha said very softly, her tone as fluffy as a kitten.

"Whatever you say to us in confidence is between us." Yelena said after my silence.

"You know that, right?" Natasha said gently as she brushed some hair away from my face so she could see me but I kept my head down as I looked at the view, not even glancing at them as I held back tears.

"I don't have anything to tell you." I mumbled and it took everything in me to keep my voice calm and steady and from cracking.

"You're a shit liar." Yelena mumbled and leant her head against my shoulder, trying to offer me some comfort and solace so I didn't feel so isolated and alone. "You haven't been yourself since the incident happened."

"If you keep it all to yourself, it'll only make it worse." Natasha said soothingly and tears welled in my eyes.

"I'm sorry." I whispered as my voice cracked.

"Don't apologise but please don't shut us out anymore." Yelena said a touch firmer which she knew I needed to hear.

"We can't lose our sister." Natasha mumbled as she rubbed my back.

Then, I broke down.

I admitted everything as they held me and wiped my tears.

And honestly, I felt so much better after telling them.

You don't always have to fight alone when everyone is in your corner fighting with you.
