Nightwings + Headcanons

Description:

Nightwings come in a range of dark, cool colours such as dark blues, purples, greens, pinks, grays, blacks and sometimes browns with lighter or darker markings like stripes, spots and patches.

Their silver 'star' scales are most often seen under their wings and belly but can sometimes appear all over the body, they sometimes come in different shades of yellow, orange, white and or red.

Nightwing eggs laid pitch black with those that are about to hatch under the moons will turn a bright glowing silver colour.

Their eyes are similar to Sandwings but often have white, silver and sometimes light coloured pupils, they also ether have silver or purple/blue tongues

Nightwing silver scales come in different designs/patterns depending on the moon they were hatched under. They have silvery blood colour.

Abilities:

Nightwings have fire like a few other dragons, but theirs are a silver colour, with bright sparkles that flick off of the main flame when in use.

The other main power that a lot of Nightwings have are determined by what full moon they are hatched under, they are the following:

Those hatched under Imperial are given the power telekinesis,

Those hatched under Oracle are given the power future reading,

Those hatched under Perception are given the power mind reading,

Those hatched under an eclipse are given the power memory transfur,

Those hatched under a pink moon are also given the power hypnosis,

Those hatched under a red moon are also given emotion amplification,

Those hatched under a blue moon are also given truth sight,

Those hatched under a supermoon, their powers are made stronger.

Each of these powers are given different silver scale markings located around their face and eyes.

{Due to their moon based powers some dragons can suffer from a blood craving syndrome, called 'Desmodontinae Syndrome' which causes them to need to consume blood, most of the time they can use animal blood but a few Nightwings can only drink other dragon blood.}
