"Just please help me, Pepper."

"What will I get in return?"

"Name anything you want."

Tumaas ang kilay ni Pepper sa akin, I smiled at her.

"Anything?"

"Not too specific."

"Bakit ba kasi kailangan mo ng tulong ko? I'm sure you can do that."

"Gusto kong matapos agad."

She even eyed me. "Oh, I smell something fishy."

Buti at dumating ang asawa nyang si Atty. Miller kaya nawala ang pang aasar nya sa akin. I got a big case, sure na tama si Pepper na kaya ko to pero gustong matapos agad.

Now that I am sure with my feelings, I wanted to get things done without further ado.

"Anak, wag mo sana mamasamain ha. Nililigawan mo na ba si Maia?" Mama asked. "Are you ready to enter into a relationship again?"

"Anong gusto mong marinig, ma?"

"Syempre yung totoo. I meant, bata ka pa. Tyaka ang huling bilin ni April ay may dumating na mag aalaga sayo."

When I first met Maia, I know for myself that she's a brat. She doesn't give a damn about her future. And I'm kinda annoyed with her presence, and yes, I enjoyed our sex.

It wasn't in my plan since I am focus with Nami. I just couldn't stop myself now.

"You think it's a good sign, Mahal?" I asked April's tomb. "Okay lang ba talaga?"

Nakikipagdebate pa ako sa sarili ko kung ano ba talaga ang nararamdaman ko para sa kanya. I can also see that she changed a lot, she's trying and I appreciate that.

"Are you sure with your feelings, Crime?" Pepper asked.

"Hm?"

"Hindi sa pag aano ha. Baka lang kasi masyado ka lang overwhelmed sa nararamdaman mo. Well, we both know what kind of person Maia Saavedra is."

"I'm sure with it, Pepper. Kailangan ko munang tapusin ito bago ako gumawa ng hakbang."

"That's a big risk you're going to take, Crime. I hope she still feels the same for you."

Maia got jealous with Pepper. Hindi ko alam kung paano ko ipapaliwanag pero ayoko munang ma-distract sa kanya dahil malaking kaso to. I promise to myself that I will focus on fixing things with us after this.

"The evidence says all the accusations."

"I object your honor."

Nagalit si Pepper dahil nawala ako sa focus sa hearing. I know it's my fault but I really need to win this case.

"Focus, Crime! Focus, sayang lahat ng ginawa mo kung matatalo ka."

My last conversation with Maia got me distracted. And it's not good. I lost the case.

"Pepper, calm down." Ani Chelsea.

"Sayang kasi Crime! Diba you were so confidence!"

"Pepper. You don't need to shout." Si Atty. Miller iyon.

"Uuwi na ko, thanks for everything."

"Teka! Atty. Dizon! Si Nami nasa hospital daw inatake ng allergy."

Kapag anak ko na ang pinag uusapan at nadehado dito, nawawalan ako ng pakialam sa lahat ng tao. Kahit pati sa kanya!

"Hindi kita mahal, Maia. Umalis ka na sa buhay ko, sa buhay namin ng anak ko."
