"Yo! Yo, Orla!" James grinned, sitting side saddle on the bench outside the office as his girlfriend entered the studio that morning.

"Hey, James," Orla smiled.

"You have to hear what happened at my Uncle Manny's house this weekend!" James said to her.

"Okay," Orla smiled.

"It's insane! This story is legendary! Like, anyone in the next two hundred years, that is closely related to me, will talk about this story."

Orla smiled. "So what's the story?"

"Yeah, yeah, okay," James nodded. "You know my Uncle Manny, right?"

"Mm-hmm," Orla nodded, putting stuff from her bag in her cubby.

"Rides a motorcycle, always riding a motorcycle," James nodded. "So he's just rolling, like, block away from home, just going for a ride, and he tries to pop a wheelie, okay?"

"Yeah, I'm guessing that went well," Orla let out a small laugh.

"Yeah, he completely just falls off the bike, but the bike, it lands, and keeps going straight. My Aunt Carla, she's at home, just chillin, and then she sees the bike go by, runs up to it, jumps on it, and goes grocery shopping."

Orla scoffed. "James, there is no way that happened."

"It did! It did!" James said to her.

"So wait, is your uncle okay?" Orla asked.

"Well, he sprained his ankle, but that's not even from falling off the bike! He sprained his ankle because he was jumping up and down after seeing his wife take off!"

Orla smiled slightly. "Okay, James, okay."

"Come on, Orls! Isn't that so funny?"

"It is very funny," Orla let herself laugh.

"Alright, guys, I have an announcement," Kate interrupted what James was going to say next, then she smiled. "Love that Uncle Manny story!"

James raised his eyebrows at Orla. "See, Kate gets it!"

"I get it, I get it!" Orla put her hands up and he grabbed them, pulling her off the bench and putting an arm round her. "Come on, let's go."

"Alright guys," Kate said, once James and Orla had joined them. "I want to explain the rules to Nationals to you, okay? It is way different than Regionals."

"It's all group dances?" Chloe frowned.

"No, it's not like that at all," Michelle said.

"Basically, Nationals has six categories," she explained.

"And all these categories are sudden death, which means if you lose one, you're going home," Orla added. "The first round is male solos."

"Then you move on and you go to small groups, which is around three to six dancers," Riley put in.

"Then it is duets," said West.

"And then female solos," Michelle said.

"And then you go on to do two eleven person group dances for semi finals and finals," Kate finished.

"Okay, so I just wanna focus on solos and duets for now," Kate finalised.

"I think Michelle and Eldon should do the duet, I mean, they are the reason we won Regionals!" Chloe smiled.
