Jacquie❤️ wants to FaceTime flashing up on Orla's laptop screen was unforseen, but the girl took it in her stride. She was in the middle of writing an essay, along with packing up her small flat, and would love a break from it.

"Hey!" Orla smiled as her brother's girlfriend popped up on her screen.

"Hey Orla!" Jacquie smiled slightly. "Do you have a few minutes to talk?"

Orla nodded. "Yeah. What's up, Jacquie?"

Jacquie took a deep breath. "Well, Noah left TNS."

She paused for a second and Orla nodded. "Yeah."

"And... today the message got sent out. I presume you know what one. The 'A-Troupe is back for this season and we're meeting in Studio A for a party in a few weeks' one."

Orla chuckled. "Yes, I know that one. And I also know that this year, it's Michelle's goodbye party."

Yes, Michelle was leaving The Next Step. Orla had had to endure plenty of angry rants from Emily about it, considering the fact that someone else had bought the studio from Miss Kate because of it. But sadly, Orla couldn't make the party, because it was the day that she and James were moving into their new apartment that they had spent about a year finding and buying, so she couldn't miss that.

"Yes, I know," sighed Jacquie. "But I guess... well, I know that... it won't feel the same without Noah."

Orla could see the conflict on her face, going back and forth between leaving A-Troupe... or leaving Noah.

Her lips twitched. "Well, personally... I think that you should follow your heart. And I... I know your heart's attached to Noah."

Jacquie nodded. "It... it really is, Orls."

Orla smiled sadly. "And... if that means leaving A-Troupe, it's okay. They'll understand. You're not ditching them, either. You're just... easing away."

Jacquie nodded. "I knew you would tell me to do that."

Orla snorted. "Why'd you call me, then?"

Jacquie grinned. "Because I wanted to talk to you."

That warmed Orla's heart. Her brother had only dated one other girl, who had already been Orla's friend, but with Jacquie, it was different. She had had to get to know her, to build a friendship up from nothing. And she had. The two girls were immensely close by now, Noah almost getting jealous seeing them together.

"Oh, and hey," Orla smiled. "I know you joining Noah would make him a lot happier. He's been doing nothing but moping around since he left. Even getting an audition for another musical didn't cheer him up that much."

"Well, there's nothing I want more than to make Noah happy, so..." Jacquie shrugged. "But... thank you for helping me, Orls."

"So... are you going to leave?" Orla raised her eyebrows.

Jacquie shrugged. "Not sure yet, but... you've certainly cleared my head, that's for sure."

Orla giggled. "See you later, Jacquie."

"Right back at ya, Orls."
