Orla watched the quintet rehearse from the office to the music, and was happy to see that everyone was doing an amazing job.

Alfie was the only problem for her.

After him saying he liked her, Orla had avoided him. The look on his face when he said "we'll see about that" to her loving him instead of James... was something she never wanted to see again.

But an email she recieved soon made her stop in her tracks and run out onto the dancefloor.

"Everyone, just stop! Stop for a second!" Orla called over the dancer's music, which she turned off a second later as everyone gathered round.

"Okay, so I've just recieved an email about the big twist in the next qualifier, and..." she still couldn't believe this was being allowed. "The team who wins tomorrow... gets to steal a dancer from another studio."

"What?"

"What?"

"This is insane," Michelle shook her head. "How is stealing other people's dancers even allowed?"

Orla looked round at them all, and tried to sympathise with them.

"This twist... changes everything."

"WHAT?!"

Okay, so Orla had taken yesterday off because Riley had assured her everything was going to be fine at the studio, and she had really needed a day off.

She came back to find five disappointed, angry dancers, telling stories of the Geminis threatening to steal Alfie, and pulling out of the qualifier.

"Okay, okay, okay, I have questions," Orla said. "One is why are the Geminis competing? They qualified last time."

"They said they were just having their fun," Riley rolled her eyes.

"Okay, second question, why Alfie?" Orla raised her eyebrows.

Okay, so maybe the Geminis stealing Alfie was something she would quite like to happen, but she couldn't admit that, because she hadn't told anyone what he had said to her yet.

"Because he's the best A-Troupe dancer," shrugged Riley.

"Okay," Orla nodded. "And third, why in the world would you pull out?"

"Because I wasn't losing Alfie! He is our best dancer and if he joined the Geminis, they would be unstoppable!" Riley exclaimed.

"The dancers don't seem pleased with you," Orla shrugged.

"They're not," Riley sighed. "But what can I do? I'm not standing by whilst we lose a dancer-"

"Okay, fine," Orla sighed. "Fine. I regret that I wasn't here yesterday, but I'm kinda glad at the same time."

"Okay, but Orla, listen," Riley said. "We still have one qualifier to get to Regionals-"

"Okay, but one qualifier that only takes one team, that's a duet battle!" Orla shouted.

"Didn't your duet battle win us Internationals?" Riley raised her eyebrows.

"Besides the point," Orla snapped.

She looked out onto Studio A, where quite a few angry, bitter, disappointed dancers were.

She just hoped they had made the right decision.
