Author's Note:

Prime video has hinted 4 times that something is up with BrightWin. Of course, in this fandom we have learned not to get our hopes up sooo to temper my expectations, I want to try and write a fic based on Prime's latest post.

AU : Tim x Ajin

Tim is single. Congrats, he's an ex. Again. It was not as bad as it sounds though, he and Risa just figured out they weren't really meant to be lovers. They were more destined to become co-workers. With Risa as a wedding planner rising in popularity and Tim as a photographer now known in the wedding circuit as the best in the field.

Tim was actually at a wedding right now, hustling as one does when you're not born into the 1%.  But he wasn't here as a photographer. He was here as a magician.

He was here as a magician

Yes, a magician. Was he a particularly good magician? No. Did the couple whose entertainer cancelled on the morning of their wedding have a choice? Also no. One might wonder why a photographer of his stature would be okay to perform magic tricks in a glittery silver suit and a technicolor felt top hat but the fact of the matter is camera equipment is extremely expensive and Tim needs every buck he can get to upgrade. Also, what was so shameful about being a magician? Aside from the fact that he was very bad at it?

Skill hasn't been an issue as he went from table to table performing a couple of magic tricks for inebriated and very appreciative guests. Tim has a natural goofy charm and he knew how to make it work in his favor. And going by the bills (and telephone numbers) guests have been placing into his clown pockets, it was certainly working very well.

Until he happens upon a table where there were only two occupants. A haughty looking man, barely dressed for a wedding sitting beside a beautiful woman Tim is sure he's seen in a billboard or two. He had felt a pair of eyes boring into the back of his skull the whole night and it is clear now that the gaze was from this gentleman.

It would be flattering in normal circumstances, after all said gentleman was brief-scorching panty-dropping gorgeous, except that the gaze wasn't at all positive. It was filled with judgement and derision.
