**Chapter 6: Family Bonds, Unveiled Thoughts, and Departures**

Punjab's sun bathed the fields in its warm glow as Santokh Gill sat on the veranda with a cup of chai, lost in thought.

Santokh Gill, sharing his concerns with his wife Parminder: "Fikar hoti hai, Parminder. Sana badhi ho rahi hai, padhai mein aage badh rahi hai. Lekin yeh shehar ka zindagi alag hai, aur main soch raha hoon, Parminder, uski shaadi ke baare mein."

Parminder, preparing breakfast, listened attentively. "Santokh, Sana samajhdar hai. Woh humare sanskaron ko nahi bhoolti, chaahe woh kahin bhi ho."

Parminder, trying to reason: "Santokh, Sana abhi padhai mein hai. She's in her 3rd year. Uske paas poori padhai khatam karni hai."

Santokh Gill, determined: "Parminder, main chahta hoon ki Sana ek achhe ghar mein jaaye. Uske liye humein jaldi se sochna hoga. Aur main janta hoon ki woh khush rahegi."

Parminder, reluctantly agreeing: "Santokh, Sana ki khushi bhi toh dekhi jaani chahiye. Lekin uski padhai bhi toh important hai."

Santokh Gill, softly: "Parminder, main Sana ko bahut pyaar karta hoon. Lekin main apne soch se alag nahi ho sakta. Yeh meri iccha hai ki Sana ko ek achhe ghar mein bheja jaaye."

Parminder, with a sigh: "Theek hai, Santokh. Hum dekhte hain aage kya hota hai. Main Sana se is baare mein baat karungi aur phir tujhe bataungi."

In Delhi, at the Shukla residence, Rita Shukla managed her NGO work while multitasking with household responsibilities. Sidharth, living in the hostel, received a message from his brother Kushal.

Kushal: "Sid, Mom is going to Punjab for NGO work. Neha and I will take care of things here. All good?"

Sidharth, replying: "Sure, bhai. Take care of Mom. I've got everything sorted here."

As the day progressed, both Sana and Sid found solace in familial bonds. Sana, after a day filled with medical postings and classes, called her parents back in Punjab.

Sana, on the phone: "Papa, how's everything back home?"

Mr. Gill, warmly: "Everything is fine, beta. Your mother and I miss you. How's your college life?"

Sana, smiling: "It's challenging, Papa, but I'm managing. I'll come home soon, I promise."

As Sana's phone conversation continued, Santokh Gill, seated in the veranda, gestured to Parminder, inviting her to join him.

Santokh Gill, looking into the distance: "Parminder, main samajh sakta hoon ki Sana ka yeh shehar aur humare sanskaron mein farq hai. Lekin main chahta hoon ki hum uske liye ek achhe ghar mein rishta dekhein. Yeh mere liye zaroori hai."

Parminder, placing a comforting hand on his shoulder: "Santokh, Sana abhi bahut choti hai. Uska sapna hai doctor banne ka. Uski padhai ko samjho, Santokh. Shaadi ke liye toh waqt hamesha milta rahega."

Santokh Gill, looking at Parminder with concern: "Parminder, main samajh sakta hoon ki Sana abhi padhai mein hai, lekin main sochta hoon ki agar hum der se sochenge, toh achha rishta nahi milega. Main apni beti ko khush dekhna chahta hoon."

Parminder, gently: "Santokh, Sana khush tab hogi jab uska sapna poora hoga. Uske liye humein uska saath dena hoga, uski padhai mein."

Santokh Gill, persuasively: "Parminder, main janta hoon ki tu meri soch samajh sakti hai, lekin Sana ka bhavishya bhi toh dekha jana chahiye. Ek achhe ghar mein rishta dekhne mein kya harz hai?"

Parminder, finally giving in: "Theek hai, Santokh. Main Sana se is baare mein baat karungi aur phir tujhe bataungi."

Santokh Gill, grateful: "Shukriya, Parminder. Main bas chahta hoon ki humari beti khush rahe."

On the other side in Delhi, Rita Shukla prepared for her upcoming trip to Punjab. She checked her travel itinerary, ensuring everything was in order. Kushal and Neha, Sidharth's older brother and sister-in-law, joined her at the breakfast table.

Rita, addressing them: "I have some urgent NGO work in Punjab. I'll be going for a couple of days. Please take care of everything here."

Kushal, reassuringly: "Don't worry, Mom. We've got everything under control. Focus on your work in Punjab."

Neha, supportive: "And Sidharth will manage just fine in the hostel. We're here for you."

As time passed , the threads of familial bonds intertwined with the aspirations of their children. While Sana faced a crossroads in her lives, where personal dreams clashed with traditional expectations. Sid's passion towards his profession progressed positively with getting a mentor of his choice.

The days ahead held a blend of uncertainty and promise, as each character navigated the complexities of relationships, dreams, and responsibilities. Little did they know that these pivotal moments would shape the chapters of their intertwined destinies.
