Nicks POV:
Well shit. Colette is so used to it being just her that she doesn't want anyone else around. We should've considered this before...things...BUT it's been our dream to have two kids. The best we will have to do is try and convince her.
Nick: "but honey, don't you want someone else to play with when daddy and papa can't play with you?"
Colette: "maybe..."
Charlie: "what do you not like about having younger siblings?"
Colette: "papa and daddy no love me no more"
Nick: "awww pumpkin, we love you so much. there is no way new could ever stop loving you. Ever!"
Charlie turns around to face her and sticks his arm out to her car seat.
Charlie: "we love you so much baby. and we always will"
Colette: "okay!! baby sister! sister! sister!"
Charlie: "well we don't know if they're a girls yet, sweetheart. it could be two boys. maybe a boy and a girl!!"
Colette: "no boy! boy yucky!"
We both laugh and colette looks confused.
Colette: "what funny?"
Nick: "baby what do you think papa and daddy are? are we boys?"
Colette: "yes!"
Charlie: "are we yucky?"
She just shakes her head and looks out the window.
I whisper to charlie-
Nick: "at least she's somewhat on board..."
Char nods and i grab his upper thigh, rubbing my pinkie at his waist. He places his hand on top of my mine and pulls his other hand to his stomach smiling.
Charlie: "i think im ready."
Nick: "i'm ready for anything. as long as im with you."
Charlie: "okay cringe"
I smile and so does he.
Nick: "i'm so embarrassing"
Charlie: "it's a gay thing"
Nick: "not you outing me💀"
Charlie: "your fine! your a rugby lad."
Nick: "at least i'm not a gay nerd"
Charlie: "yeah just a dork"
I laugh again and flip my hand. we intertwine our fingers and i kiss the back of his hand.
Charlie: "does this mean finally, actually, not just lying to my face, you love me more than your dogs?"
Nick: "hmmm...i guess so. Though some could argue i love you more than anything."
When i finish my sentence we reached the driveway and parked.
Charlie: "well, this will be a new difficult chapter of our lives but, we will manage."
Nick: "of course"
I turn over to face him and i kiss his lips, ever so lightly.
Charlie: "now get colette out of the car, please and thank you!!"
Nick: "anything for you darling."
Charlie: "simp"
God i truly do love him. And yes, i love him more than my dogs. (allegedly)
