_-_-_Andy's POV_-_-_

"I thought I would find you here."

Silence

"Say something it may end better for you."

She can resist his power. She's stronger than we thought.

"Girl, you can't escape me. You've lost everything, you can't run from me anymore."

"She's clearly not in here. She would have said something by now, or we would have heard her breath. Let's just move to the other room. We can check back here later." I says out of turn. Freezing in fear when I realize my mistake.

"Fine, if she's in this room though I'll have you head." He hisses at me.

"Ye- Yes sir." I stumble over my words, as I bow to him.

As we start to leave he has an idea. As he turns to me and lays eyes on mine keeping eye contact with me. I starts to shake quite a lot.

"Once I leave the room I want you to stay in here. Be silent so she think we have both left." He whispered to me as I tried to stop shaking. I do an extremely timid nod to acknowledge him.

He nod back to me. He walks out of the room shutting the door behind him in folding the room in darkness. It's ironic isn't. My boss is the darkness. Yet I never see him in the dark, he is always in the light. He complains about the light, the people, the flowers, the bright animals, and any sign of happiness. I love those things. I hate the dark, the night animals, the color black, and any form of death. It reminds me of my parents, and-- and Rick. He wanted to go back in time to save my parents. We failed and above all what we did messed up the present. Rick ceast to exist in this world, and the darkness was created. My best friend died because of me. I should of told him to stop, that I didn't need to know my parents. But I didn't, it's my fault the darkness is here. I should have stopped it when we had the idea. Rick would still be here and the darkness wouldn't.

I look around the dark room. After a few minutes something caught my eye in the corner of the room. Glowing sparkles of vibrant green with hints of purple, gold, and sliver in it. It soon starts to form into a cloud of green and gold sparkles. I realize that it's the girl we have to find.

"HEY! I FOUND HER, BOSS!" I shout loudly stressing my voice.

The sparkles start to fly around what I believe is her faster and faster. I start to run at the light from the magic. My magic bursts from my hands and eyes in a deep red, letting me see better in the darkness. At this point the cloud is so large I can't see her. I aproch the cloud at full speed. I hear the door slam open as he rushes in. As soon as I reach her the spell completes and the cloud expanded fast with much force. I was thrown back into the wall.

"And you lost her." I hear him say. His tone clearly angered. I'm screwed.

"We know what this means Andy." He says approaching me vigorously.

I start panicking and breathing heavily and shaking. I close my eyes and brace for the worst.

"But I guess you are the reason I'm here." He says. I open my eyes. His feet are right there in front of me. I look up to see him looking down on me.

"So you can have another chance. But be warned, one mess up and you're dead." He says in a warning tone as he turns away.

"Tha-Thank you Sir." You're so very kind." I try to stand up while stumbling over my words as I express my gratitude.

He whips around and SLAP I'm on the ground wincing in pain.

"If you ever call me kind again, I will make your death the most suffering experience in the world." He growls as he kicks my stomach and turns away in furry.
