Karter's POV After Dave drove us back home, he ordered us a seafood boil and we watched movies until 3am when he decided to go home. Before I went to sleep I made sure to text Kim that I'd be in before lunch.
When I woke up I checked the time and it was 10:26. I made my way to the bathroom and turned on the shower. I spent 20 minutes in the shower before getting out and doing my hygiene routine. I walk to the closet and see what I'm gonna wear. I decide on a black and white oversized sweater and black leggings. I go to my vanity and quickly do my makeup. Once I'm done I grab my purse and keys and head out the door.
On the way to work I stopped by the coffee shop and picked up some donuts for the girls. Before getting out the car I take a quick picture then head inside. K4RTER

When I walk into the shop I see the girls helping a few customers. I take the donuts to the office and come back out. I grab the iPad and start helping with the customers. After about an hour the last customer is out the store. I walk over to the girls and properly greet them. "Hey girls, how was opening?" Maiya gave me a smile before answering. "It was good. A lot of people came in after about an hour of being open. But they loved the new sets we got and the restocks too." I nodded my head then Kim spoke. "Yeah it wasn't anything we couldn't handle. Restock is gonna be easy since you did a lot of it already. We did manage to get a few more boxes done tho." "Okayy okay, well I got donuts in the back. And then y'all can take your lunches."
When the girls went on their lunch a few customers came in and were out within a few minutes. I go to the back and grab a donut. As I'm eating a customer come in so I put it down and wipe my mouth and hands. "Welcome to D'Luxe. I'm Karter, the owner can I help you find anything?" She looked at me for a second then smiled. "Yes actually. I'm going to an event tonight and I need a sexy outfit. I wear a large." "Okay okayy, do you have any ideas of what you're looking for?" She looks around the store and then back at me. "Something sexy that will definitely have the attention on me." "While I grab a few outfits I think will interest you, you can have a look around at some accessories, bags or shoes we have."
I keep what she said in the back of my mind as I look around for outfits then show her the options I chose. "This black sheer jumpsuit is firee." She picks it up and holds it against herself. Her body will look so good in this. "Girl you definitely have to get that one. It's gonna hug your curves so well!" We talked a bit while I rang her up. She pays and I give her the receipt. "If you take any pictures, please feel free to tag us. I'd be happy to repost it on our page." I put our business card with our information in her bag and hand it to her. She thanks me and makes her way out the store.
Soon after the girls came back and the rest of the day went by quickly. After closing up the shop I got in my car and made my way home. Dave texted me before I left work telling me he'd call me once he made it back home from his club appearance. When I got home I turned on my speaker and ran a bath. After spending about 45 minutes in there I get out, put on my pajamas and moisturize myself. I go to the fridge and look inside. I take out my ingredients and make a grilled turkey and cheese sandwich.
