Gasping for breath, leaning back against the wall, she gulped down as much air as she could, her body shaking from the anxiety of the situation. This wasn't meant to happen, all she wanted to do, was to help, but instead, she had inadvertently saved someone, that was supposed to die, and now they would be asking questions.

Hearing others running about on the helicarrier, she looked each way, and ducked in through the door, that was 10ft to her right. Closing it quietly, she rested her forehead against it, her heart racing as though it was about to explode from her chest. The team came together, over Coulsons death, and now the senior agent was alive, and most likely, trying to track her down. Fuck, could this get any worse?

'All available agents, please report to deck two! Repeat, all available agents report to deck two!..'..

The voice rang out over the tannoy and she banged her head against the door... 'Seems like you're in need of a drink..'... Her breath stopped and she turned, seeing the archer strapped to a bed, watching her.

'Seems like you need a vacation. You and another agent getting into the kinky stuff? Is that allowed on board?..'... She walked over, folding her arms, looking him over. He was young compared to what she remembered of the remaining originals, but then again, she was a long, long way from home.

He chuckled, then winced, shaking his head, as if trying to clear it... 'I can't tell if he's still in there..'

'Hes not. Greaseball is out of your head, but you still need to cool down. Romanoff will be in shortly, to check on you..'.. She sighed, then muttered under her breath as she moved back to the door... 'If I haven't fucked up anymore than this..'

'Hey, what's your name?..'.. She looked over her shoulder at him, seeing him laying his head back against the pillow, watching her with a confused and assessing look.

She thought it over, and decided to give part of her code name, instead of her real one... 'You can call me Gray, Agent Barton..'.. She gave a small smile, before pulling the door open, and leaving him.

Keeping her head down, she needed to get to somewhere, that the surveillance wouldn't pick up on her, she had to try this again, and it did hurt, that she would have to let Coulson die. She had heard stories of him, as she grew up, she knew he was a good man, a good agent, a friend to her family, before he was killed.

Ducking out of sight, as she saw a flash of red hair coming down the long hall, she dipped into another room, noticing it was a closet. Pulling her sleeve up on her right arm, she tapped her device, the suit encasing her as she adjusted the time, to the day before. Maybe she could try not to bump into her past self, or was it, past/future self? Damn, why couldn't she have just listened when the boys started droning on about this stuff?

Shaking her head, she hit the button, propelling herself into the past, to one day before, well, at least that's what she thought, but standing on the platform, of the tower, and realising it was not yet complete, she scowled down at her wrist as the suit retracted, and realised she set it for one year before, and now she was out of Pym Particles, well, that was just fucking great! Awesome, really, could this get any fucking worse.

'Hey! What the hell are you doing up here?!..'.. She closed her eyes, shaking her head at the sky, hands on hips as she turned around, coming face to face with Tony Stark. Man, they were all so young! Compared to what she remembered, but still, seeing Barton first, and now Stark? This was a terrible idea. What the hell was she thinking, that she could save them?... 'I asked you a question kid!..'

'Uh, first off, not a kid..'.. She pointed to herself... 'Pretty sure you've banged girls, younger than me, which is gross by the way. What, are you looking to go to jail? Keep the age limit to at least 25, not straight out puberty, would you..'.. She huffed, rolling her eyes.

Tony let out a slight strangled noise and head a cough behind him, seeing Happy focus his attention to his phone. He turned back to the young woman, glaring at her... 'How'd you get in here? You a worker? Didn't think we hired women on this Happy..'.. He glanced back to his friend, and when he returned his gaze to her, he took a few steps back, her glare feeling as through she was actually cutting him.

'You're a chauvinistic prick Stark, what the fuck is wrong with you? What, women can't work construction now? They only good for filling one or all of their holes, stay at home and bake pies?..'.. Tony held his hands up, shaking his head.

'N-no. No, that-thats not what I said-..'

'Its what you implied by the tone..'.. She scoffed and marched past him, to the elevator, hitting the button... 'Has Jarvis been integrated into the building yet?..'

Tony was equal parts terrified of this woman, and also highly fascinated... 'Not yet, but-..'

He didn't get a chance to continue and she stormed over to the stairwell door, and shoved it open so hard it rebounded off the wall. He could hear her voice, her angry mutterings echoing around the stairwell, before the door shut.

'I can't find anything in the system that would identify our intruder..'.. Happys voice snaps him out his thoughts.

'Not really an intruder. She didn't take anything..'.. Tony slipped his hands into his jeans, still looking at the stairwell door... 'Hm, integrating Jarvis into the whole building sounds better than just at home..'.. He had thought about it, but hearing it from someone else, cemented his idea about it... 'Did you get a picture at least?..'.. He looked to Happy, who shook his head... 'I keep telling you, I can make a camera for you to wear, makes it easier to see what you're upto..'

She practically ran down the stairs, oh so many stairs, way too much cardio, she was sure her Cap, would've had her out of bed and running at 4am, just to be a dick about it.

Not caring to stop for anyone, she hit the ground floor, the lobby stairwell, and took a moment to catch her breath. She didn't want to be going out there, red faced and covered in sweat, no one wants to deal with that.

Giving herself a reprieve, she thought over who best could help her, and from what she knew of this year, there were a few she could go to for help. Feeling her skin cool, she took another deep breath and headed out of the stairwell, and through the lobby, stepping out into the cool air. Looking side to side, she resigned herself to walking, not that she didnt have money on her, she did, but she wanted to remain in the shadows.

Who knows what she had already changed from this, not to mention she would have to kill her past/future self, when the day came to the helicarrier. This was a huge face-palm moment, but she couldn't stew any longer, not in front of the tower anyway.

Squaring her shoulders, she walked straight down Park, heading towards the sanctum.
