Honestly? There really wasn't that much to it. I literally took one look at the exchange between Nova and Violet in Violet's last questline when evaluating it seriously rewrite-wise for the first time and I was like "You know, if the dialogue was written better this would totally be giving the vibe of an exasperated mother trying to reprimand/ultimately getting into an argument with her rebellious troublemaking teenage son and that's kinda funny because it's literal war they're talking here and they're seemingly both adults"
