Matching tattoos

First chapter of the book!! I'm actually rly excited to be writing this :)

But instead of the love hearts in the middle, Dream has Sapnaps fire logo and SapNap has Dreams smiley. Cause I think it'd be so cute.

"DREAMMMM!!"

I yelled through the house, holding a comfortable and fluffy Patches in my arm. I groaned, as Dream was not answering. I walked into his room, which was soundproof so if he was in here I'd understand why he wouldn't answer or even hear me. I knocked on the door, despite the soundproof walls and slowly opened the door.

"Dream?"

I looked into the room, speaking in a hushed tone as to not startle Dream. I saw him sitting at his desk, his eyes closed and headset on. I scoffed and walked in, carefully and quietly shutting the door behind me. I placed Patches onto Dreams bed and walked over to Dream, upon standing next to him I took off his head set and placed it next to his keyboard, looking at what was on his screen. He was editing a Minecraft video that we had recently recorded together.

I smiled at the thought of him editing it and looked at his beautiful face. His long and fluffy golden brown hair fell over his eyebrows, and at times, his eyes. It resembled an extremely fluffy dog, especially in the morning. Bed head. My favourite hair style. His eyes, that were currently closed but still beautiful. The emerald green that hid behind the closed eyelids made me melt. Long eyelashes that looked so natural and beautiful. Beautiful freckles against his tan skin, that looked like stars on a painting or as if they made a pattern like those connect the dot things you'd do in like elementary.

I knew I wasn't able to pick him up, since he was larger than me and he was sleeping. He hated being disturbed in his sleep, and I wanted to respect that. So instead, even though we'd both be complaining about it in the morning, climbed into his lap from where he sat on his chair.
I brought my lips up to one of his cheeks, after moving a stray piece of hair and tucking it behind his ear, and pecked his cheek gently. Watching as a small pink blush made it's way onto his cheeks, I smiled and rested my head into his shoulder. Slowly dosing off.

//- Dream ~ In the morning -\\

I stirred, my lower back aching as I slowly opened my eyes. I felt that my arms were wrapped around something, and as I opened my eyes to look, I saw SapNap snoring lightly in my arms. His head rested on my shoulder and his arms were loosely hung on my own arms. I smiled and moved my head down to press my lips against his raven coloured hair.

"Mhm.. Dream..?"

"Yes It's me my love.."

I smiled, looking lovingly into Sapnaps eyes as he began to properly wake up. I remembered that last night I'd fell asleep whilst editing a Minecraft video, and SapNap must have fell asleep with me.

"Why'd you not sleep in the bed love?"

"Because. I wanted to sleep with you.. but I didn't want to wake you up so."

"Oh- well thank you for that love."

He smiled at me, lifting his body slightly so that he could reposition himself on my lap (so that he was sitting on my lap with his legs wrapped around my waist and his hands rested on my shoulders). He inched closer towards me, resting his forehead on mine before he connected our lips. I moved one of my hands from his waist up to his cheek, cupping the side of his face as I felt his arms wrap around my neck.

"What Do you wanna do today baby?"

"I was thinking.. what if we got matching tattoos? Only if you want to- sorry.. was that a stupid idea?"

"It wasn't! I'd love to get matching tattoos with you. What were you thinking of us getting?"

SapNap looked up at me in shock at first, probably because I had actually said yes, and then his shock turned to pure joy and a smiled formed on his face that made my heart melt.
He pulled out his phone and showed me a picture of two puzzle pieces that connected together, one had a smiley in the middle (which I assumed resembled my logo) and in the other was a small fire (most likely resembling Sapnaps logo).

"They look so good my love, we can definitely get them done."

"Wait really!? Thank you!!"

I laughed, pulling out my phone to call my brother who was (coincidentally) a tattoo artist. I explained what we wanted and asked SapNap to send me the picture so that I could send it to him. I sent the picture to my brother and he said that he would be alright to do it in an hour. I thanked him and hung up the phone.

"What did he say?"

"My brother said he'd be happy to do the tattoos in an hour, so we best get ready and leave."

SapNap groaned, making me tilt my head in confusion.

"Can we just stay here for a minute longer..? I'm comfy."

"Of course Pandas."

//- Dream ~ At the tattoo parlour -\\

Me and SapNap walked into my brothers tattoo parlour, hand in hand. We waved at my brother and he encouraged us to follow him into a separate room of the shop. I looked at Sapnap and squeezed his hand, since we had talked about him going first.

"You'll be ok Pandas. I'll be holding your hand."

SapNap nodded and smiled, walking over to the chair and laying back in it. We had decided to have the tattoo done on our forearms (which was where the tattoo would be most noticeable and thankfully it was one of the least painful areas you could get a tattoo). 

I sat in a small chair next to the chair Sapnap was sat on and ran my thumb over his knuckles in support. I watched as my brother prepared the ink gun and began to repeatedly stab the needle into Sapnap's forearm, a small line for the puzzle piece beginning to form. It didn't look as painful as I expected, and I'm assuming that Sapnap thought so too. 
It didn't take long, due to the small and relatively simple design. But now it was my turn. 

Me and Sapnap swapped places on the chairs we were sat on, so I was sitting in the tattoo chair and Sapnap was sat next to me. I knew I had a lower pain tolerance than Sapnap did, but I assumed it wouldn't hurt as much as me and Sapnap thought it would originally. 

Soon enough, me and Sapnap were thanking my brother and walking out of the tattoo parlour with some medical plastic wrap on our forearms to protect our tattoos. 

"That wasn't that bad. Thank you for getting it done with me." 

"It's no problem, the tattoos are actually pretty cool."

We smiled and shared a quick kiss before we got in the car and drove back to the house. 

In the end, when we could finally take off the protective medical stuff- i don't know specifics, the tattoos were really cool and we ended up putting a picture of our tattoos on our Insta and twitter accounts. 

Everyone loved them just as much as we did. 

The only downside?

They thought that it was a friendship tattoo..

If only they knew.
