Alright, so I do have a lot on my plate, so it might be a while until I actually start writing this, but if you're interested I hope to see you then.
This is vaguely what I'm going for (haven't set any solid ideas down yet so I'm very open to suggestions):
He has to bodyguard her from an assassination while her parents decide on joining the Republic, while the Separatists try to kill her. If she dies, it makes the Republic seem incompetent, and her parents join the Separatist alliance.
They're both very closed off and reserved (or she's totally insane and slowly breaks down his walls, I haven't decided yet. It's one of those two though.)
As things go south he realizes he has to protect her from those closest to her, before they convince her to make a bad decision that could ruin her life.
All the while helping her avoiding her scumbag of a fiancé that her parents loved, which is why they arranged the marriage.
Prepare for the bodyguard cliché, lots of tension, a charming villain that will make you swoon, and much more.
