ACT THIRTEEN: Hello, Paddy! (Goodbye Mark?)

Andie's :

                I try to wait for Mr. Cute, Tall Guy's reply to me if ever while holding my phone. I try to gaze around me to check if I can actually recognize him at all by looking at every tall lads who are busy strolling around the City Centre. Hindi ko rin pinalagpas yung ibang guys na pumapasok at lumalabas ng Starbucks just to make sure if one of them is HIM.

                I check the time on my wristwatch. It's half-past four in the afternoon.

                Hmm, thirty-minutes late na si Mr. Cute, Tall Guy at ni text replying to my message eh wala pa rin. *pouts then frowns*

                *Sigh*

                C'mon Andie, cheer up! Malay mo naman, na-traffic lang 'yung tao. Don't worry, darating din siya any minute from now! *smiles while making herself feel more positive*

                Glancing again at both sides of the streets just to make sure he's coming and yet, no trace of Mr. Cute,Tall Guy can be seen.

                *Sighs again*

                Hay, 'asan na kaya siya? Bakit hindi man lang siya nagre-reply sa message ko? *pouts and sulks even more*

                I'm still standing while waiting for him when I felt a tiny wee waterdrop touching my cheeks. I look up the skies and notice na parang biglang kumulimlim ang paligid na sinamahan pa ng paunti-unting pagpatak ng ulan.

                Naku naman! Hindi pa naman ako nagdala ng payong!  -_____-

                *Holding both her hands acting like praying*

                Please, please God! 'Wag Niyo naman po sanang hayaang umulan. Makarating po sana si Mr. Cute, Tall Guy bago pa umulan, please! *puppy dog eyes while clasping both her palms then rubs it*

                After chanting that wee prayer in secret, napansin ko na lang na biglang huminto yung ambon. Good, good! I can now sigh in total relief knowing the fact that God grant me that small wish! *smiles*

                Ramdam ko na medyo nangangalay na 'ko sa pagtayo ko that's why I check the time again. It's already quarter past five.

Susme! No wonder why I feel the numbness on my legs coz I've been standing here already for almost an hour and 45 minutes! *rolls eyes*

Pero ayos lang at keribels pa din! *chuckles* Mr. Cute, Tall Guy will be here any minute from now anyway. I check my phone again and still, there's no replies from him. I couldn't help myself but to feel worried again, afraid of the fact na baka niloloko at pinasasakay lang niya 'ko. And the worst, baka nasa paligid lang siya at tinitingnan niya 'ko from somewhere while laughing on a stupid girl like me believing that he will show up.

                Oh please! 'Wag naman sana! *cries miserably* Ang sama naman ng ugali niya kung gagawin niya sa 'kin ang bagay na 'yun! *frowns while sniffing*

                *Andie takes a deep but steadying breath*

                Calm down, Andie. Darating din siya, okay? Just stick with your patience and you'll soon be rewarded!

                Yes, kaya ko 'to! AJA! *grips her fists while tugging her arm*

                My brown gaze tries to look and search around the corners of Glasgow City Centre once again, nagbabakasakali ulit na baka mahagilap ng mga mata ko si Mr. Cute,Tall Guy. Even those tall guys na napapadaan sa harapan ko eh, hindi ko din pinapalagpas especially the ones who are looking at me. Even though maraming beses na 'kong napapahiya sa pag-aakalang si Mr. Cute,Tall Guy 'yung mga tall guys na napapatingin sa 'kin, again, dinedema ko na lang kahit gustong-gusto ko ng lumubog sa kinatatayuan ko. Pero sige pa rin ang fighting spirit ng lola niyo, haha! No matter what happens, I'll stick to my guts and will power just to wait for him! *nods, still with full of hopes while waiting*
