part 14 | food and deep thoughts

It looked beautiful. But certainly not as beautiful as Sam...

I look back up to that ever so fancy logo to read
"Bonjour" hm. Never thought of a restaurant to be a greeting, seems fun though.

I look over to Sam, looking effortlessly fine, as always to be honest.
"Oooo, fancy" I say to Sam. He quickly turns to me and replies
"Yep, I hope you have fun here. It took us forever to get a reservation" (😭😭)

"Well for a place as fancy as this I would assume" I say before we get out of the car, Sam lends a hand to help me get out of the car. It's not like I needed his help, but I most certainly wanted it. I just can't get over how fucking hot he looks right now, I can barley even take it in. (😍fr)

"Let's not wait any longer, c'mon"

I take his hand and get out of the car, we quickly walk up to the door. Hell it even smells fancy in here. Is that weird?? Nah, I don't think so. I think to myself.

Ella, Sam, and Colby make their way into the restaurant. A host greets them quite quickly. "Hello, thank you for dining with us. Would you three like a booth, or regular table?"

Ella looks at Sam with want in her eyes. He can somehow tell what she wants. "Booth, please and thank you"

Ella looked back to Sam and was obviously very happy he chose a booth, it's what she wanted after all.

Colby took the three menus the host was holding out and a waiter quickly arose and led them to their booth. They all sat down and looked at the menus, Sam and Ella were on one side together, and Colby on the other by himself. (OBVIOUSLY LMAO)

"Hmm, ooo that looks good!" Ella pointed at a dish titled "la róse parfè" (I made it up don't google it, also it's said like "la rosh parfay")

"Oo it does!" Sam almost immediately says in response, he almost always agrees with her. (💀😭)

Not that Ella cared. Because she doesn't, but it's kinda funny to her sometimes. She can't help but feel the tension between them. Colby, sitting across from Ella and Sam, leans forward a bit. "Mkay so can you two love birds hurry up?" Colby said jokingly.

"Love birds!?" Sam exclaimed. "Yes, love birds" Colby said in reply, leaning back once more. "Okay can we move on?" Ella said, angrily almost. She doesn't want her secret out that she likes Sam. It's so obvious but it doesn't matter to her anyway, just the thought of Sam knowing is; terrifying almost.

But, at the same time.. She wants it out. Because maybe, just maybe.. She could be with Sam then. But that all depends on if Sam likes her back..

~The food is now on the table~

The food looked good. But y'know what looked better? Sam. He always looks good, I swear!
I'm so happy he came into my life. I was just a fan, but now? Now.. I want to be so much more. He has my undying loyalty. I love him, I love him so much. I don't think I ever won't. I don't think it's possible to not love him.

"Oo!! Try this, Ella!" Sam says, breaking the silence and tension. Also breaking me out of my deep thought process.
"Oh! Uh, sure!!" I say in reply. I reached out for the fork which held the food Sam wanted me to try, but he pulled it back.
"No" he says. Utter confusion washes over my face.
"Huh? What are you doi-" before I could even finish my sentance he fed the food to me. I didn't expect it, that's for sure. I wasn't complaining. I mean, it was cute. Just like him- no no, he's more than cute. He's hot. He always will be, I'm sure.

My eyes open wide in surprise, but nonetheless I still bit off the food, it was steak. And god was it good.

I bet Sam tastes bette-

I pull myself out of my thoughts. I feel like I disrespect him if I think of him like that. I feel.. Nasty, disgusting. Like I shouldn't. Like I should be shunned. But.. The thoughts.. They just....
