The Doctor and Phoebe kept delivering letters to the wives it was tough day I mean if the Doctor and Phoebe had delivered bad news before this time it was different because they were there.
Once all the letters were delivered The Doctor and Phoebe decided to go back to the TARDIS for a little while to decompress.
"God that was tough 20 letters delivered to wives expecting the husbands to come home and they never did" Phoebe said
"Here Phoebe nice of cup then we get back out there" The Doctor said
"Thanks Dad Milky two sugars in mine right" Phoebe said
"Yes just how you like Milky two sugars" The Doctor said
"Thanks I know we delivered bad news but this was harder see there faces when we told there husbands would never return it was brutal" Phoebe said
"Look we couldn't save everyone and in this case we were not allowed the best we can do is help the survivors New York is the city of optionally" The Doctor said
"I know we can't leave the TARDIS needs a few days to rest" Phoebe said
"Yep she done more landing in the last few days then she done in her hold life" The Doctor said
"Yeah she been though a lot holding the Titanic with her forcefield sending a blue light up so we can swim to her" Phoebe said
"We damaged the forcefield doing that it's not a problem she will repair over the next few days" The Doctor said
The Doctor was right a least 20% of the forcefield had been damaged with them being in New York it seemed like the right time for the TARDIS to repair and rest.
"In a few days I transfer the patients to New York hospital where they get further treatment for Hypothermia" Phoebe said
"How are they doing" The Doctor asked
"Well Hypothermia is so hard to deal ideally i need them to warm a little bit last I check this morning they vitals were stable I'm warming them up slowly" Phoebe said
The Doctor and Phoebe finnised they tea and headed back outside. The Doctor and Phoebe knew the white star line would do a full inquiry so they wanted to do it for them and had them the paperwork.
The Doctor and Phoebe spend the rest of the day walking around New York tell survivors that they will move on for this disaster.
