HEALING HER

Chapter 12

"The door is open" Arnav said.

The door opened revealing Samara. She came inside holding Arnav's food. The curious Arnav just raised an eye brow looking at her.

"Actually Aunty is busy in kitchen so she asked me to bring you food."

Saying this she placed his food on the bed near him. Arnav being himself asked-

"She couldn't bring me food but went to your house to call you to give me food, weird."

Samara hit her head with her hand.
She murmured something and then looked at him and said-

"Aunty has invited me and my brother for lunch as my parents are not home. So  that's why she asked me when I was in the kitchen with her. Okay?"

" Ooooo... " He elongated it.

Then Arnav thought of being a little playful.

"Aahh.. " He let out a fake painful sound and then being dramatic said..

"Samara can you give me that bed table to keep the food. As you can see I am in so much pain I can't move. I have to say you pushed really hard."

Listening to this Samara hurriedly brought the table he was pointing to. She then placed the food  on it.

"Oh also can you bring me a bottle of water from fridge. I can't have my food without water. As you can see..."

Before he can finish she went out and bought it for him.

"Here you go." She handed him the bottle of water and Arnav ate a morsel of roti with dal and then said-

"Aree... Mummy ne ajj namak kam dala hai kya... Namak thoda kam lag raha hai.. Wo Samara thoda... "

She again went out to bring it.

"Here... " She said and gave him.

"Oh... Sorry I think the food is fine I don't need it." He kept the salt near by without using it.

Hearing this from his mouth she  didn't say anything just gave him a
✨Bombastic side eye✨.

"Actually the food doesn't lack salt, it's just bland. I think Achar would be a great idea. Samara can you pleaseee bring the Achar from kitchen. "

She has a thin strand of patience in her. Now this was becoming irritating yet she choose to be silent and just gave him a tight lipped smile and went out to bring.

Arnav tried to control his laugh as he was not done with the act. Yet a chuckle escaped.

Then she bought the achar and gave him some.

"Samara woh actually.... "

"What's the matter with you huh.... Can't you say all things in one go."

That's it... Arnav brust out laughing. While he was laughing Samara understood that he was just messing around. She stood there waiting for him to complete his laugh.

"You really.. Haha...
You really should have looked at your face."

After he sobered up from his laugh he looked at her, who was having no expression.

"Done!" She gave him a pointed look.

"Sorry... Sorry... But it was fun right?"

"Nothing of it was fun... Now eat fast I've to take the plates, aunty told me."

"Ok but genuinely you are very feisty huh... That was a strong push... Haha.. "

He said grinning and wiggling his eyes.
