The next day

Third's POV

Kiba walked to the usual training grounds where he met his team. He was feeling terrible. He was so confused. About Darci and where he loyalties lie. If she was coming back. If she loved him or not.

"It's all about her..." Kiba muttered to himself.

"Good morning Kiba" Hinata greeted as Kiba and Akamaru walked over to Kurenai sensei, Hinata and Shino. Kiba just nodded. He hadn't spoken much since he last saw Darci. Kiba could never forgive her for what she had done.

Shino looked at Kiba straight on. He hadn't told anyone of his encounter with Darci the week before. There was no reason to tell anyone. Shino knew that if there was, he would tell. But as for now, it remained only between himself and Darci. Shino was the most curious about how Darci was still alive. According to his calculations, her body should have given up months ago.

"Today we have a mission. We will be escorting someone back to their village. This is a B rank mission, so don't treat it lightly. The person we are escorting is being targeted by bandits and rouge ninja. Let's go pack and meet at the gates in 10 minutes" Kurenai instructed. Her team nodded before going her separate ways.

Kurenai sighed as she watched Kiba walk home. He looked so sad. But there wasn't anything that Kurenai could do. Asuma was in the same boat. Shikamaru had changed. He was no longer lazy. He no longer complained. Yoshino and Shikaku had changed as well.

Kakashi was another story all together. He was so distraught that he had gone away for a bit. Kurenai and the other sensei's had no idea how to help him. Lady Hokage even had no idea.

"She really has touched all our hearts" Kurenai sighed before she went to go and pack herself.

Darci's POV

I woke up leaning against a wall. Blinking a few times, I found myself still in the room, but not where I remembered falling asleep. Getting up quickly, I ran over to the glass case. It was empty. I looked around, panicking.

"Relax, she is fine" Ruka said walking into the room.

"Where is she?" I demanded. Ruka smiled and motioned for me to follow her. I quickly grabbed my swords, which were for some reason next to me, and followed Ruka.

"She woke up a few hours ago and saw you asleep on the ground. She moved you to a more comfortable position" Ruka explained as we walked through the halls. I didn't respond. I just needed to get to Kira. I followed Ruka into a training area. Hotaka was there.

"Morning" he greeted. I nodded in greeting before looking round. I found Kira practicing throwing kunai and shuriken. I walked over to her. I could tell she was frustrated.

"Ruka told me how long I was out. Why was I in there for that long?" Kira asked as she sensed me approach.

"I don't know. I truly don't. Just like I don't know how my body is still working properly. How much has Ruka told you? And has Hotaka told you anything?" I asked. Kira turned to me. I missed her so much. We haven't been together like this since we were around 5 years old.

"Between the two of them, they told me practically everything. I just need you to fill in some details." Kira explained. I nodded.

"Of course. What do you need cleared up?" I questioned.

"The main one is our family. Who are we? Is Orochimaru our dad or not?" Kira inquired. I sighed.

"Long story short, our real parents are Kakashi Hatake of the Leaf and a ninja of the Cloud. At birth, we were switched with Orochimaru's real child. He believed that we were his children growing up. And the child that we were switched with died." I explained. Kira nodded her lips pursed. She looked at me.

"Another thing. Who is Kiba and what are you to him?" Kira asked. I turned and glared at Hotaka. He grinned at me. He understood me but at the same time he liked to mess with me. I sighed and turned back to Kira.

"Kiba Inuzuka. Born and raised in the Leaf Village. Part of the Inuzuka clan. His best friend is his nin-kin Akamaru. And as for what I am to him? A traitor of the village who almost murdered his sister" I explained. Kira frowned.

"Why would you do that?" she asked. I looked up at the roof.

"I have been through so much alone. I know that isn't your fault. But you were also the logical one. I'm the one who rushes in without thinking and the type of person to assume the worst and not think things through. That's you" I explained. Kira sighed.

"Looks like I have quiet a mess to fix for you" she said. I grinned at Kira and we hugged. I saw Hotaka walk over to us with a smile.

"It is so creepy how alike the two of you look" he said. Kira and I laughed.

"Just you wait. Try keeping up with us when we fight" Kira grinned.

"Have you two met properly?" I asked. They shook their heads. I nodded mine.

"OK, Hotaka, this is my twin sister Kira Hatake. Kira, this is a great friend of mine Hotaka Maki. I helped save Hotaka's family's home from being destroyed. In return, they taught me how to fight." I smiled.

"Didn't you already know how to fight?" Kira asked raising an eyebrow. I rolled my eyes.

"I did. The Maki clan helped me further my technique and become better at Taijutsu. Speaking of, we need to spar. I need to assess your abilities and figure out if I need to train you in anything" I told Kira. She shook her head.

"I demanded to spar with either Ruka or Hotaka when I awoke and had some real food. Hotaka agreed. I guess he thought I was you, but with blue hair instead of purple. My Genjutsu is pathetic. Ninjutsu not bad, Taijutsu, lacking, but all together, not bad. I can defend myself" Kira told me. I nodded.

"Well, when we get to the leaf, I know someone who can help you with Taijutsu. Someone who can help you with Genjutsu. And Kakashi sensei, or dad, has lightning for his chakra nature, like you, so he can help you there" I told Kira. She nodded.

"If only you were there when my family trained Darci. You make her nicer" Hotaka grinned. I punched him lightly in the shoulder.
