Caitlin's POV

"She didn't look too happy" I say as we saw Bailey and Lia leave together.
"Why the fuck has she gone with Lia" Beth asks confused,
"Well Lia said for space" Katie says
"See this is what Bailey does. She messes with peoples head" Beth says
"She'll shag her and never talk to her again" Beth adds

Flashback
We were in Manchester, I was at Alannas who was sharing the apartment with her teammate Bailey. Mackenzie was here as well. Apparently Bailey had just signed for the club and was a little nervous. Alanna lets me in and Mackenzie was already in there. I walk in and see this girl stood in the kitchen. Her face was gentle and soft, her hair was long and shiny. She looked beautiful and her face reflected off the counter in the light. "Hey you alright?" She says to me as she looks up.
"Yeah you?" I say
"Good thanks" she says and leaves the kitchen.

Me, macca and Alanna watch a movie but god that girl was in my head. I go into the bathroom. I go out and she was stood their leaning against the woodwork on her phone, "I'm Caitlin" I say
"Oh I know, I'm Bailey" she says, her voice sounded confident.
"Alanna has told me a lot about you" I say and she lets out a laugh.
There was some sort of connection between us. She grabs my hand and pulls me close to her. I felt her breath on my skin, causing goosebumps. I look into her eyes, they were green. Like emerald, she was golden. She pushes a piece of my hair behind my ear before leaning in for the kiss. SPARKS.
The night was amazing, somehow Alanna and Mackenzie never heard us. But god that was good. The next morning she was such a sweetheart. I had to leave to head back to London and we called for weeks until I found Lia. Then we broke it off and we stayed friends. She's my best friend.

Flashback ends

"Beth that's not fair" I say reflecting on my memory.
"But it's true, she'll shag Lia" Beth says
"No she won't, and if she does she will treat her good" I say defensively
"Why are you sticking up for your ex!" Katie says. It's not for Lia though.
"I am not! I'm sticking up for my best friend" I say
"Who's shagging your ex!" Katie says getting annoyed
"She isn't going to shag Lia. She's still too much into Lauren" Kim says
"And for Lia, she's still in love with you Caitlin" Kim adds
"What?" I ask in disbelief, my voice cracking.
"Bailey is in love with Lauren, that won't change for a while they were in a relationship for 6 years you can't just get over someone that fast after a long term relationship. Lia still loves you Caitlin it's obvious every day. She stares at you everyday wishing she was Katie. She's happy for you both but is jealous. Lia and Bailey have formed a friendship because of this. Because they are both going through the same thing, they can understand how the other one is feeling." Kim explains
It starts to mark sense.

"They are both broken and lost, they don't know where to go next. They've formed a friendship that they can help the other person and give them advice." Kim adds

"Like when we were at the city game, and Lia came up to us looking slightly hesitant but needed Bailey so she still did it" Katie says

"They are discovering what they feel like themselves and we can't get in the way of that. Their levels of annoyance and anger right now is incredibly low because they are going through something" Leah says

"It's true" Viv says.

I look at Beth and she looks at me. "We need to help them more than anything. I'll talk to Lia, try and give her some closure. I mean we all heard that phone call from Lauren, we just need to help Bailey" I say to Beth

Beth sits there clearly in her thoughts.

Bailey POV

We get to lias apartment and we both go in. "Can I get you a coffee?" She asks
"Please" I say
We go in the living room and drink our coffee whilst watching Netflix. "How you feeling?" I ask
"I don't know anymore, I'm getting over Caitlin I think" she says
"You are? How do you know?" I ask
"I think I like someone else" she says
"Okay, you don't have to tell me who if you don't want to. Are you completely over Caitlin?" I ask
"No, not completely." She answers
"I still wish I was with her, all the time." She admits
"But these feelings their like pushing her to the back of my mind and bringing this new girl into my mind" Lia says
"Don't rush into anything okay" I say
"I'm not ready for a relationship yet, no matter how strong these feelings get" she says
