"it's snowing" i smiled
"has been for twenty minutes" malik laughed
"well, maybe i've just been too busy to look outside"
"about that, you're old lady needs a new gown"
"why?" i sighed
"she wet her gurney"
"guess you know where i'll be now" i frowned
malik smiled

"it's okay mrs. gunderson" i smiled
"sweetie, im sorry"
"it's not your fault"
"are you feeling okay now?"
she nodded
"im just so embarrassed"
"mistakes happen"
"let me get you a blanket" i smiled

"hey, guys" i waved, mark and elizabeth were coming inside
"how're you two?"
"not bad" elizabeth smiled
we all found out she was pregnant not too long ago.
"you look pretty happy after your night shift"
"it wasn't too bad, actually" i shrugged
"it's nice seeing you two" i added
i walked down the hallway with a few bags of saline in my arms.
"you still up for that drink tonight?" carter asked
"i guess so"
"oh, don't act to excited"
"right now, my minds on getting home" i smiled
"well, i'll see you once you've gotten some sleep"
"yeah, tell chen i say hi"
today was her first day back working.
i walked back over to the lounge.
"heading out?" abby laughed
"finally" i groaned
"bad night?" luka asked
"no, but you know how it is"
"takes an hours to get labs back, always having to wake people up"
i rolled my eyes "i don't get any time to sleep"
"well, now you will" abby shrugged
"yeah, i hope your guys' shift goes well" i waved

a/n: hey, all! i'm sorry for the short part today, i'll have a more lengthy one out on thursday. i've been fighting a sinus infection, and i've been feeling really unwell lately. although, it gave me a little time to finish writing a few early parts i missed, so now we're all fully ready to go! i hope you enjoyed and just know that there will be more coming this week!
