αυяσяα became honored with the title of 'best swordswoman' at camp quickly after her sparring with the one and only Clarisse and campers watching her as she dueled with any demigod who had a death wish. They acknowledged her archery as well, but that was less privileged and pretty common for half bloods here. Everyone knew to stay clear of her, most afraid to talk to her, only few of them knew she wasn't as rude as her work with her sword during battles.
Capture the flag was coming up, Aurora excited to participate in such an exciting game. The selection of teams was occurring tonight during the campfire after dinner. Aurora was practically radiating of energy and excitement as she awaited for the nights surprises. Rising from her bed after staring at the ceiling for a good while, Aurora threw the covers off her warm body, changing into a similar outfit from yesterday, with black jean shorts instead. Though today she chose a dark purple corset styled armor top instead of her usual black. Aurora considered it a special occasion. She was eager to train, in preparation for the big game tomorrow.
Stroking Woe's mane and patting her head, Aurora announced her leave and told the lion to go explore more into the forest. Stuffing all of her weapons into her black bag, she slung it over her shoulder making sure to always keep her sword in her jean pocket.
Aurora took her usual route down to the arena. She heard a loud voice call out her name, turning her head to follow.
"Castro, you ready for tomorrow?" Clarisse spawned into her vision with her spear in hand.
"Clarisse, yeah I am. Maybe we will be on the same team." Aurora suggested, throwing up her hand for a high five.
The brown eyed girl clasped her hand into Aurora's smirking. "Ares cabin is captain so we will see if your cabin fits what we are looking for." She winked. "We all know their star fighter is a good addition though." Clarisse added. She usually hated being second and one upped by a newby, but the day she met Aurora, she couldn't be mad. The girl was practically the same as her, their wit completing each other.
Aurora tilted her head and shrugged while being the one to smirk this time. "Would you want to meet up after training to take a walk in the forest to cool off?" Aurora proposed, ruling that she should make an effort to have an actual friend.
"Sounds great, i'll catch you later Aurora." Clarisse agreed, returning to sharpening her spear.
Aurora took the girls response as a win in her books with her now improving social skills. Continuing on her way to the back of the arena, Aurora proped in front of a dummy. Today, there were demigods at every dummy, getting ready for tomorrow's game. The game is taken seriously by almost everyone here, finally putting their training to test.

Aurora was by the dining hall water fountain after training, she felt a weird blast through her body. It was uncomfortable, but not painful. Looking up, she noticed a purple shield travel through the camp to surround them at the borders, before slowly depreciating. Furrowing her eyebrows, Aurora closed her eyes to feel the magic, seeing if she could identity the type. While trying to focus, a boy ran up to her panting.
"Sunshine! I just heard Chiron talking about new demigods arriving, and one had died in front of camp. But she turned into a pine tree or something." Micheal Yew spewed out in one breath.
"Whoa there moon, slow down. Is that why the borders of camp glowed?" Aurora inquired at the boy.
"I think so, I wasn't able to see the survivors or hear anymore because Mr. D almost caught me eavesdropping." Micheal breathed out.
"Ok well don't worry about it moon, here have some water." Aurora patted his back and shuffled to the side, allowing him room to get a drink.
As Aurora watched Micheal recover, she told him that she was going to go back to her cabin, saluting at him as she left the fountain. He saluted back, water dripping down his face onto his camp shirt.
Aurora didn't ponder on the situation with the 'new arrivals' in full focus mode of the selection tonight and already coming up with strategies to propose if needed.
Deciding to lie down and take a nap because your girls tired from all the training and needed to refresh her mind, she fell asleep. But, when does Aurora ever sleep without a good nightmare to pair with it.
This time, she wasn't in water, giving the girl a damn break for that one.
"Help me. please." The sound called out to her, Aurora recognizing the voice to be the one from the dark room. The girls voice stretched out, drowning out as she lost her vocals. She seemed beyond exhausted, drained from life. All Aurora could see was the moon, it was fully lit, casting a faint light on her face. She felt the abnormal power emitting from the moon. Aurora began to feel stronger and more aware.
The blonde began to use her magic tracking to pull her towards the voice. Stuck in a forest with never ending trees, Aurora noticed people tied to the trees, or were the trees. She searched the ground, dodging the roots and trees. She felt creeped out by the figures in the trees.
The voice faded even further, Aurora tried to grasp onto it, sprinting now. Squinting, she swore she saw a girl curled up on the ground with her head resting between her arms. Aurora reached out to the girl, stopping as she was brought back to complete darkness. She screamed, frustrated that she made it to the girl but couldn't help as she got sucked into the abyss once again.
Waking abruptly, Aurora gained her senses, realizing they were in the Fields of Asphodel. Aurora knew this place as a land for souls with deep regrets. She wondered why she was here and if it had to do with her prophecy. Or what the girl had to do with her.
Going through this regularly, Aurora learned to not be so consumed by their dreams because she couldn't control it. They are either misleading or a warning. Aurora believed hers were both but she can't do anything about it without enough information.

The Apollo table wasn't full, being a decent sized cabin but not overflowing like Hermes. Aurora felt bad for the demigods who were stuck there unclaimed and for the ones who had to constantly welcome new campers and switch them in and out all the time.
Aurora slid a cookie off her plate into the fire, saying a silent hi in her mind to her brother and sister.
The boring dinner ceremony begun, Aurora paying no mind to Dionysus' lame speech, she wasn't always fond of the god. He was pretty careless in her opinion. But she didn't mind him too much, mutual feelings.
The camp lined up to join the campfire. Aurora spotted Clarisse, walking over to take a seat next to her. They smiled at each other quickly before drawing their attention to Chiron announcing important events for the week. The rest of the Apollo cabin sung, Aurora deciding to pass on that, not being her specialty. That ability was all her brothers, definitely not her strong suit.
The Ares cabin counsler took stand, claiming the red team. On the other side, Athena's counsler stood as well, taking the blue team.
Ares was first to pick after winning a coin flip. The counsler scouted around the cabins in anticipation before announcing...
"Our first pick shall be Apollo!" He roared.
Cheers spread through the demigods, Aurora clapping as she smirked. She made eye contact with Clarisse, nodding in approval.
The rest of the selection went smoothly, the red team being Ares, Apollo, Hephaestus, and Demeter. The blue team included Athena, Hermes, Dionysius, and Aphrodite. Clarisse beamed with pride, showing her satisfaction with their team picks.
Aurora left the campfire, yawning and taking her normal path back to cabin 7.
