тнє summer solstice was reaching closer everyday. Aurora awaited for it, she missed some of her family. She missed her big brothers jokes and comfort, her sisters advice (and clothes) and Athena.

She especially missed how it was back then when she woke up from another nightmare.

Aurora fluttered her eyes open to a white room. She wasn't in her room, there were beds and a wooden table next to her. The window was closed.

Woe came up from lying on the girl's feet, purring in a worried manner.

A familiar little boy walked carefully into the room, checking to see if she was awake.

"Moon?" Aurora sounded while putting her weight on one arm to push up.

"Hi Aurora, i'm sorry I didn't mean to wake you." Micheal peeped out.

"It's okay kid, what are you doing here?" Aurora asked him, stitching her eyebrows together.

"Well I uh saw Chrion carry you here while I was walking around." Micheal replied looking at the wood floor beneath his feet.

"Thank you for checking up on me, can you get Will Solace for me please?" Aurora inquired, dismissing the boy.

A minute later, Will carried himself in the room, checking her vitals and making sure her vision was clear.

"Will how long have I been here?" Aurora interrogated the beach blonde before he could report her condition.

"Since 2am, so about 9 hours. Your not leaving though, Woe brought you here unconscious and worn out. You need rest Rora." Will sternly informed the girl.

"Will, I am fine." Aurora stated giving him a glare.

"Stay for about 30 more minutes and can you at least drink that nectar before you go." Will sighed in defeat. He knew how stubborn Aurora was, deciding that it was easier to let her go than fight with her.

Aurora complied, ruling 30 minutes to be better than a few days. She was a goddess, they were over exaggerating. But she couldn't lead them to possible suspicions of her being one.

Aurora couldn't get one second of alone time to analyze the whole situation and decipher her dream because another irritant boy came waltzing in.

"Aurora, why are you late for our duel. It's one hour after. Are you scared to lose?" Luke pouted while leaning against the door frame.

"Castellan, can't you see i'm on my death bed right now. Are you that blinded by your ego." Aurora snapped.

Luke left his spot against the door and went to sit on a chair near her bed.

"Don't you even think about making a comment about me being here either. I'm being held against my will." Aurora rolled her eyes, no pun intended of Will being the reason she's stuck in the infirmary.

"Wasn't going to princess." Luke threw his arms up defending himself. "Though I am mad I had to go around camp trying to find you. Your idiots don't pay attention and didn't know where you were." Luke stared off at the cup next to her bed thinking back to when he asked the Stoll twins of her whereabouts.

"Is Luke that eager to get his ass kicked in a duel?" Aurora giggled, knowing she definitely hit a nerve or two.

"I swear Castro when you're out of here, it's on." The brown eyed demigod called back at Aurora while he stormed back out.

Aurora decided she had enough, leaving the infirmary. She felt like the only place she could find answers was the forest. There no one would interrupt her thoughts.

The girl wandered around the forest, finding comfort in the birds chirps and leaves slightly sway at the wind's touch.

Finding the black flower again, she caressed the dark black petals. Aurora instant felt the power surge through her blood, using her hand to extract more into her body. She was careful to not suck the magic out of the flower, not wanting to ruin its beauty or nature.

Plopping herself in a patch of grass next to the flower, she took a deep breath. Everyday here started to lead on, it was only time until her prophecy would unfold. She knew it was begging to come into play, using her dreams to push her closer to the edge. At first she was ready, now Aurora doubted the fields she was messing with. Such as her magical powers deciding to overwhelm her with things she hadn't tried yet. As known, magical powers are endless, there's not much she can't tap into. This scared Aurora, she liked to be in control. Having an ability that requires her to bring out her creative and imagination side was complicated for Aurora, though she was born a goddess of magic, it wasn't her main specialty. It was supposed to be a small power for assistance, but since Hecate gifted her with more intense powers, she had to train, to learn, and to control. Aurora's nature was space and air, those made complete sense to her, but magic was a whole other world that she had to combine her powers to penetrate, along with executing. Comprehending the amount of focus she needed was hard to catch onto. She never understood being a goddess with a second power that another goddess already controlled the domain of. It must've been for a good reason if Hecate was willing to diffuse a good amount of her energy to Aurora.

The air began whirling around her, alike a small tornado. It wasn't damaging or harmful. It was powerful. The wind circled her as she began to levitate off the ground, hovering. Her curly hair blew behind her, catching the breeze of the event.

The girl felt a new sense of calmness, putting her at ease and in control. The air around her began to develop a scent of an earthiness fragrance that is heavy and rich, with notes of leather, wood, and smoke. Aurora associated this new dark scent with the flower near her which glowed of a purple luminosity now. The black flower originated from the aurora borealis.
