αυяσяα woke this morning with the sound of quiet laughter and hitting.

"Boys really? Sneaking into cabin 7 this early to pull a prank on me. You two know you can't fool me." Aurora groaned disappointed in their stupidity. Not a thought behind their minds. She sighed.

"Ugh, Travis I told you to shut up!" Connor quietly shouted at his twin.

"YOUR the one who stepped on my hand you imbecile!" Travis argued back.

While the Stoll brothers argued, Aurora happily stood from her bedside, avoiding the trap with no thought. She knew them too well to fall into their traps. After all, she was apart of the master mind behind their tricks. The girl was too wise for their lousy pranks, she knew better growing up around Hermes himself sometimes and Athena who was alike her.

She made her way around them, reaching into her drawers to grab her armored clothes and boots. She also snatched her bag and checked for all her weapons.

Patting the boys on their heads, she announced that she was going to go for a walk and talk to Chiron. She knew better than to tell them where she was really going, they wouldn't leave her side if they had a tracker on her.

Inserting herself into the bathroom, the goddess changed into black leather shorts, a sleek corset armor top with sleeves, and her signature black boots. She was wearing all black today, to no one's surprise. Though, many questioned why she liked to wear black in Apollo. When she was asked, Aurora said the clothes were easier to combat in and her blonde hair was the color that stands out because of it.

The goddess stepped outside, feeling the sun and breeze wrap around her body. She smiled at the sensation, ready to prove Castellan wrong.

The view of the sword fighting arena coming into her view, Aurora smiled. She was sick of this selfish boy taunting her about how good he is but weirdly, no one's said anything about him being better than her. She's also never seen him duel when she's been there.

She threw her normal quick warm up, making her way to the place Luke insisted on fighting at. And there he was, the tall 6'0 boy with a mischievous smirk on his face. Mentally sighing, wondering why she let her determination get ahead of herself.

"Well goodmorning Castro, prepared to loose?" Luke beamed at the girl, crossing his arms over his chest.

"Don't seem so bright, I won't want to ruin your cocky mood when I win." Aurora flatted out as she stared up at him, attempting to make up for her size and one up him.

"Whatever you say sleeping beauty. One round?" Luke accepted her staring challenge.

"You're so insufferable."

"Coming from you."

                                        ⚕️⚕️⚕️

They got in a ready position, both of their stances portrayed in a protective manner.

Aurora took this took throw the first move since he wasn't budging. He moved to the side, tilting his head in disgust. Aurora wasn't fazed by him, stepping forward again and catching his wrist that was holding the sword.

"Don't play that game." Aurora growled out, releasing her grip as she tossed his arm back at him.

Recollecting his movement, Luke advanced on her, jabbing at her sides. She twisted her body to avoid the blows.

Their swords clanged against each other in a cross as they pushed with force to gain control. Going in opposite directions, they slid off.

Luke drew up his leg to kick her in the stomach. He caught her off guard, the hit landing. But Aurora's top had lessened the impact on her body. She bounced back with no reaction, throwing an uppercut of her sword towards him. Her sword created a cut on his upperarm. His face turned in agony yet he continued on.

The two dueled for a while. Aurora took a quick swipe to his ankle distracting him for a split second. This was long enough for Aurora to maneuver her body around the boy, standing behind him now. He turned around, but when he faced the girl once again, her sword was pointed at his throat.

Both of them were tired from fighting each other for a while.

"You put up a good fight Castellan, but can you stop calling me a sleeping beauty now?" Aurora smiled sarcastically at the boy in front of her who definitely took his loss personally.

"Never." Luke sneered.

Aurora was about to comment back at him when Chiron entered their premises. His centaur form strutted over, Aurora unable to read his emotions.

"Luke your appearance is requested at the big house." Chiron presented in his monotone voice.

"I'll be on my way." Luke suppressed his thoughts arising at the summoning of himself. Chiron pranced away, disappearing from the two.

"May we continue later." Aurora replied to the speechless Hermes boy in front of her. At that, he followed the centaur's steps, leaving Aurora standing where he left her.

Swinging open the grand doors to the big house, Luke observed the room. Chiron was standing near his radio, not acknowledging him, and Dionysius wasn't present per usual. He didn't like getting involved in rarely anything these days.

"Luke son, your father has assigned you with an important quest to complete. You must consult the oracle after this, and if you come back sane, you shall prepare to leave tomorrow. A lot is at stake and although you don't understand your fate yet, you must trust your gut." Chiron informed the boy in his scratchy echo.

Luke nodded processing what his father could have possibly assigned for him personally.

"As you know, 2 demigods may accompany you through your quest. Remember to think logically, never let your emotions get to you." Chiron continued.

"I'm guessing the selection will be held today?" Luke inquired.

"Yes, I will choose my best options from each cabin to assist you in this mission." The centaur confirmed.

Luke turned around to meet the oracle. Stepping up the dusty stairs, he coughed as the dust surrounded him. He glanced around, running his fingers over a plaque from a past quest. The whole room was filled with significant items, awards, and lost items from dead or abandoned.

A weird feeling drew Luke towards a figure, a mummy? The oracle.

"I am Luke Castellan, son of Hermes. I was told there is a quest I must serve." Luke confidently said to the dead looking mummy.

The figure arose, eye sockets glowing of green. It hastily managed out Luke's prophecy to seek a Golden Apple at the Garden of Hesperides from the tree. As a son of Hermes, he would be best suited to travel and steal the apple.

Luke walked back down the unstable stairs, dusting off his camp half blood shirt when he reached the floor again.

Luke exited the big house, going back to his cabin to prepare, pondering on who he would take.
