In the kingdom of Navarre there are four quadrants that every 20 year old must enter and pick. There are Healers, Scribes, Infantry and last but most importantly Riders. The riders are forced to live a different lifestyle than the others and that is seen throughout history. We die in brutal ways and are forced to endure pain and heartache. But the choice for the children whose parents betrayed the kingdom are not left up to us. Since we have the relic we must learn how to survive through the pain or die and we all know they would rather us die because we are the marked ones

Nora is what you would call a pain in the ass. She doesn't listen to anybody. She's been training to survive the riders quadrant since she was 10. Her best friend who was in the same foster home as her helped mold her to be the fighter she is today. She had a tough life but she has an even tougher backbone. She's a beautiful girl and everybody sees that. She has bright green eyes, the color of the forest, tan olive skin because she spends her day in the sun and dark brown hair that shines red highlights in the sunlight. Her best friend used to say that her beauty would be the death of him and all the other men she would spar against. If only she knew how true it was.
She was nervous like everyone else but unlike everyone else she had him on her side and he would be damned if he didn't let her know that
she knew that he would be there to make sure she doesn't become a name on a stone and he knew that he will do anything to keep her alive
