Here's my lore on the first ever Heralds from each element.
In the early days after the battle at the One Tower, the four realms were in chaos and disarray after the war.

Based off the first Ice Queen we see in ep 45 (idk what the name tag blocked the accented letters 💀)
Born a nobleman, or what was perceived as noblemen at the time, daughter of a member of a guild ,which was essentially the first ever royal guards of the realm entirely, who died when she was a teen. Ásta built her way to the top and became the best spearman in the Ice realm, winning tournaments, and catching the eye of the Gormiti Lord Trition. She was guided to the One Tower where she and the other future heralds meet their lords and are presented with the bracers. Whenn she returned to the ice realm she was recognized as a leader with her herald title and she became the first monarch and Queen of the Ice

Like her descendent Ikor, Ásta is precise, intelligent and always believes it best to think before you act, but she is also caring of her loved ones. Though she does let herself become impulsive now and again the other heralds help her through it. To Trition she was a surrogate daughter. She at time freezes her heart so she can fight without pause, after what happened to her parent ( it was unclear if it was her mother or her father who worked for the guild), but it does eventually melt once again at the warmth of her new friends.
