- Ásta not only knows how to use a spear but also a sword, dagger, bow, crossbow and war fans.

- Baishan mastered swordsmanship in less than a week from Saburo

- Tariq has a soft spot for critters and all things cute.

- Despite being a windie, Jia can swim in the waters of the ice realm as easily as Ásta can

- Baishan never learnt how to read until age 16.
