It was late, the sky was darker than it had ever been before, I stared at it aimlessly, waiting for one of the stars to send me off to sleep. They twinkled in the sky like tiny diamonds. I've loved the stars ever since I was a little kid, they have always been so fascinating to me, suns miles and miles away.I couldn't go to bed, there was this feeling that had come over me, like a wave of sadness. I felt like I was lying down on the beach, late at night, with no one around, waves coming over me, I didn't even close my eyes for them. I was so used to it, like a nymph, lying so calmly, like I'd been there for a thousand years, left behind. Forever waiting for a feeling or something new to come over me.It was probably paranoia again, I felt like this every night that I was in the dreamscape. It was the fear that Zeus was there, that he was lurking in the shadows, waiting to take me. The fear that he could come at any moment to kill me or do worse.I guess it was only a matter of time until Zeus went after me again. He was never going to let me go, he was never going to get bored of raping me, and then Apollo saved me and gave me the blessing, but in Zeus' eyes, I belonged to him. I was nothing to Zeus before, but now I was a fraction of something, something he craved like a dog. Something he madly craved, reminding me whenever it poured rain. I was the something that was stolen from him, the something that he felt like he had the right to have back like it was as simple as someone stealing his lightning bolt. In his eyes I belonged to him period, no questions asked, I was his property and nothing more. I wasn't a fraction of someone, I was a fraction of something, meaningless, no matter who took pity on me.I started to think about the note that I got on my birthday. Suddenly I knew, then it all made sense. It was the Greek letter for z, was this Zeus?If it was, why didn't he just kidnap me and not Geo and Willow? It makes no sense why Zeus wouldn't just kidnap me, what did he want with Willow and Geo? Was it a way to hurt me? Maybe he wanted to kill them? Geo is the child of the Goddess Molly, Zeus has always hated her, and I don't know about Willow. It felt like there was a big piece to the whole curse of Hades thing that was missing. There were so many things that had happened before we all got kidnapped."Willium, wake up," Geo was shaking my shoulder to wake me up."Huh...What happened?" I muttered. I looked around, it was still dark outside."You were shaking in your sleep, it looked like you were having a nightmare," Geo said. Geo sounded concerned, which was rare when it came to being concerned about me. Geo's pale skin seemed to glow under the light of the moon, he looked nice. My body was still shivering and I couldn't stop it, I sat up and sighed."It wasn't a nightmare, I don't think so," I took a deep breath, I wanted to change the topic, I didn't like talking about my nightmares. Zeus was the last thing that I wanted to think about, I just needed to pretend to forget it all for a second. "There's a new line in the prophecy,""Really?" Geo asked. I had no idea why Geo was acting so nice, maybe something in him changed."Brave storm and rise together. I don't know what it means," I sighed and looked around. "But the prophecy also says that the new sun will rise after trials of heart, and spirit," I said."Trials as in the blessing?" Geo guessed, looking at me. Geo sat down next to me and leaned his back on the wall of the tent. I started to feel flustered as I looked at Geo so I looked down at my shoes."No, I don't think the prophecy ever was about the blessing. The new sun will rise, brave the storm, and rise together. This means that the trials in the prophecy are the storm, and the sun and the moon rise together," I explained."There is no sun here, the moon only rises," Geo muttered. "You kept getting pulled back to the moon," Geo realized, resting his chin on his fist."What are you talking about?" I asked."Lexan is the kingdom of the moon and then here, you were born in the kingdom of the moon. Yet you were chosen by the sun? This hurts my brain," Geo groaned."I know, it hurts mine too. The moon and the sun have to find each other and brave the storm together," I muttered."You don't seem too confident about that," Geo said."I don't know, why are prophecies so confusing?" I scoffed. Geo softly chuckled to himself and smiled."Well, there are always variables to them. In this case, we have the sun, the moon, and the storm/trails of blah blah," Geo said."I think the storm is Zeus," I muttered."Right, because he was the one who...kidnapped you the first time," Geo sighed, looking into my eyes again. I started to feel flustered again, it was the way that Geo would look at me. With his dark brown eyes, I felt lost in his eyes, but I tried my best to not show it. I started to feel those stupid little butterflies fluttering in me. I had no idea why Geo made me feel this way, maybe I was in love with him? He made me feel so hopeless, he made me want to just give myself to him."He left a note saying that he was sorry that my birthday present would be late, but he knew that I was going to like it. Then he signed it with the Greek letter Z. I think that...he was the one who put us here," I took a deep breath. "It's my fault that we're all here," I scoffed. I had been kidnapped by Zeus once, and of course, it happened again. Geo and Willow didn't deserve to be there."No, it's not, it's Zeus' fault. None of us did anything to deserve this," Geo said."But-" I saw the look that Geo was giving me. "Okay," I sighed. Geo patted me on my shoulder, the same shoulder that had the scar on it, but I noticed that whenever he touched it, it wouldn't hurt and I wouldn't flinch. When anyone else touched it I would flinch, but this never happened with Geo. I didn't know why, I guess I've always felt safe around Geo, even though he held a knife, I mean dagger to my throat."We should go back to sleep, Willow was talking about searching the dreamscape tomorrow morning," Geo said. I nodded and laid back down. Geo got up, walked the 3 steps to his bed, and lay down. I quickly fell asleep.I felt something hit my face. "Wake up!" "Ah! I'm awake, I'm awake," I muttered, sitting up. I looked down, Geo was fast asleep. Can you wake him up for me, he's out, Willow signed."Geo, wake up," I said, rubbing Geo's shoulder. Geo slowly woke up."Ugh, what time is it," Geo rubbed his eyes.Time to get out of here, did you guys know that your hands were touching while you were asleep? Willow signed."Huh?" Geo muttered as he got up."We're going to try to find a way out of here," I said.We decided to go to the valley first, where I appeared. The valley seemed different at this time of day."I don't think that anything's here," Geo said, all of the little blue flickers of light gathered around the exact place where I was standing."Look at that," I exclaimed."Who is that?" Geo asked."What are you talking about?" I scoffed, folding my arms over each other."The ghost person! Standing right in front of us!" Geo exclaimed."You're going crazy," I chuckled."No, I am not!" Geo scoffed."I'm not the one seeing ghosts," I said."Cut it out!" Willow yelled. I don't see anything either, just the blue particles, Willow signed."See," I said."It's not a ghost it's a...memory," Geo said, tilting his head and softening his eyes."What?" I asked."What you see as blue particles are actually memories and dreams. I think we're in someone's mind, but not the mindscape," Geo muttered."Mindscapes are the absence of thought and imagination, it seems like dreamscapes are the opposite," I said. I walked over to the sign. "The hallway must be the space in between a mindscape and a dreamscape," I muttered."We could get into the hallway and go to a mindscape, then the Gods can save us?" Geo asked. We need a key though, Willow signed."Geo, do you have the key?" I asked."Why would I have the key?!" Geo exclaimed."Well, you saw the spirit thing. So, you should know where it is," I scoffed."Jokes on you-""Ah!" Willow screamed. We both turned around, Willow's eyes were completely green and glowing. She stared at us with a hungry look in her eye like a killer would. Willow's shoulders and arms jerked around, she closed her eyes and then rested her shoulders. She opened her eyes and they were back to normal, she looked at us confused."Willow, are you okay?" I asked.I'm fine, Willow signed."Are you sure, you just screamed?" Geo scoffed.I didn't scream...oh, Willow signed."What happened?" I asked.Once a month I have this period where I'm very irritable, but I don't get mad like normal people. I am a plant and in this period whenever I get very irritated something that I call 'the rage' takes over. It only happens for a second, but I am not in control when it happens. The only reason why I'm here is because my body is a host for a plant thing and the rage is a bonus, Willow signed."What did she say?" Geo asked."Something called the rage takes over her and it is extremely irritable right now," I said.It also tries to surface when I use my powers, that is why I get a little tired. Don't worry, I can control it, Willow signed."What does it want?" Geo asked. To destroy, to kill, that's its only instinct, but it can't keep control for long. My body shuts it off somehow, Willow signed."Okay, that's good," I said."We're sorry for arguing," Geo sighed.Don't say you're sorry, show it, Willow signed."We're screwed," Geo sighed. "How will we ever get out of here?" Geo exclaimed.I have no idea, Willow signed."Don't worry, maybe some God will come and save us if we earn their blessing," I said."Probably not, it's a lot of work to make a mortal into a demigod by blessing. A God has to use everything about them. Willium, Apollo only has one blessing kid, you," Geo explained."Well, then why did your Mom choose you?" I scoffed."Seconds after I got my scar, I ran away from home and then I ran into my mom. You are chosen for a blessing when a God or a Goddess sees something in you that they see in themselves," Geo said.We are in the dreamscape of some random person. I think the only way we'll be saved is by a God or someone who has the key, Willow signed."Key, isn't that...what unlocked Hotel Hades?" I asked."Yeah, the key also killed Skylar Zhang," Geo scoffed."But it's also powerful, it freed everyone under Hades' curse with just one turn-""Okay, but we don't have the key," Geo sighed."And we don't either," A voice scoffed."Don't blame it on me, blame Miguel," Another said.
