Today is the day we're going to my childhood home. I had to move everything out of my apartment because I'm renting it out while we're filming and I most likely won't be back until after the shoot. Austin and Callum were meeting me at the apartment at 8:00 am so we could drive to San Diego together.
Convo on the Austin and Callum gc:
Austin - we're stopping for coffee right?
Me - I'm at Alfreds right now. What do you guys want?
Callum - Egg sandwich, iced latte with oat milk and one of their blueberry scones.
Austin - just a cold brew with no milk and a gluten free lemon muffin. Thank you Eve you're the best
Me - I don't know how to explain it but your guys' orders give your personalities
Callum - Whats your order then?
Me - Large iced latte with oat milk non sugar vanilla and a blueberry muffin😉
Austin - that gives your personality, whatever that means. Lmk when u leave alfreds
Me - let me just pick you guys up it's easier than having you come to me
Callum - sounds good
I grabbed Callum first cuz he was on my way to Austins. I was wearing a tank and a matching sweatshirt and shorts. Callum was wearing sweats and a t-shirt similar to the other night.

"Hello Evie!" He says as I give him his food and coffee, "Thank you very much, is it ok if I eat in your car."
I don't know what possessed him to call me Evie only my family calls me that and thats on the rare occasion, but it sounded natural from him.
"You think I would get you food if I didn't want you to eat in my car?" I say grinning
"You're right, stupid question. So what tunes are we playing for this roadtrip!?" Callum asked as he grabbed my phone to play music, "Well this man is quite dapper" He said pointing to himself on my phone because I hadn't opened his text so the notification was right there with his profile photo.
"You think so?" I say tapping in my passcode, "he has a great smile, but between you and me, i hear he sings karaoke a bit too much if you know what I mean." I add giggling. This caused him to burst into laughter and say,
"You think he has a nice smile?"
"Mmm not anymore you ruined it," I say half kidding as he looked at me with puppy dog eyes so i gave in, "Yes you have a nice smile Callum, now play some music." I couldn't help but blush, I was embarrassed I just told him I liked his smile, I mean it was amazing, the way it was so pure was enough to melt a girl right then and there. WHAT AM I SAYING, we're just friends, but it is a nice smile.
As we pull into Austin's driveway I see his jeans hoodie and sunglasses and he is in full incognito mode. I look around and see five poparazzi start blasting their cameras as Austin gets in. I immediately screech away, but inside I'm a little excited because I've never encountered poparazzi before! Even if they were there for Austin and not me, it was cool!
"Are they always like that?" I ask Austin
"No not always but more recently with all the Elvis stuff coming out, I have a new place set up for after shooting because this place has too many windows and no security." He says, he kind of sounds sad so I remember to give him his food and drink and announce,
"Well, we have 3 hours ahead of us on the road so get comfy people. If this isn't bonding I don't know what is."
Callum starts playing Sedona by hound mouth and I literally almost cried inside because it was my favorite song.
"I love this song!!" I say raising the volume. I look in the rear view to see Austin with his hood on and head against the door and realize he's trying to sleep so I turn it down again but turn to Callum and start whispering the lyrics.
"Well hey little Hollywood
You're gone but you're not forgot
You got the cash but your credit's no good
You flipped the script, you shot the plot

"Karaoke part two?" He says as he winks at me giving me butterflies
"Anytime, only with tequila though" I laugh
I'm beginning to think this friendship thing will work out
