I know it has been a hot minute since I've last updated this book. I appreciate all of your love and support to this book. This book has become one of my favorite things to write on and it will always will be a comfort place for me to run to. But it isn't just the same since Techno had died, and a lot of things had happened in the dsmp community which I didn't like.
I'm sure you have heard what had transpired recently in Twitter regarding Wilbur Soot being an ab*ser to his ex girlfriend, Shelby. At first, it didn't fully digest to me that there were allegations pointing at Wilbur. But then all of it points to him, which made me started to slowly believe onto it. I fully support shelby, I'm so proud of her telling her story since I know how hard it could be to expose their ab*ser.
After getting the confirmation from the man himself, I was just furious. It was awful to hear about the disgusting things he had done to Shelby. And that ass apology he posted in twitter was awful because IT WASN'T EVEN A PROPER APOLOGY!! HE MADE IT ALL ABOUT HIMSELF. All of my respect and love for him just went out of the window after that post. The disrespect man... I don't want to support a man who abuses women— I can't believe he made a lot of people fall in love with him, only to end up being an f up guy. Although, not surprised tho since most of his songs were major red flags 🚩
And with that being said, I'm also quite uncomfortable that I had written him in this book as a comfort older brother figure to Tori. Heck I'm even uncomfortable to type his name here. The fact that the next chapter that I've written months ago was Tori meeting Wilbur irl 😭🤚
As much as I want to stop this nonsense, there's also a tug of heart, telling me to continue it because there was so much more to this book. So, I want you guys to decide if you want me to unpublish this story (because I can) or I would continue writing but I'll write Wilbur and the other guy off the story to ease everyone's worries of seeing their names. I would probably be rewriting some of the chapters here if the second option was chosen.
That's all for me. But for now, please continue giving your love and support to Shelby and to the other victims as well. They all deserve the fking world <333
