jisung hated being productive, yet today was an extremely productive day for him, which he still did not enjoy.

it was his first day at his new job, a generic office job in a clothing department. to be frank, he only wanted the job because he thought the recruiter was cute, but logically speaking he probably would never see him again. but he somehow got hired even though he knows nothing about the job he applied for.

jisung looked at his phone and realized something was off as he fixed himself a nice bowl of lucky charms with a famous idol on the box - beomgyu. it was nine in the morning, and he had to be at work by eight-twentyfive. upon realizing, jisung let out a small shriek as he ran to his closet

"i can't be late." he whispered to himself as he hastily put on a clean suit and he decided to wear a blue and white polka dot tie today. it took him a couple minutes to get the suit on, since he was rushing to have it on him, but he got it soon enough.

after finalizing putting on his outfit for work, he ran out the door and immediately got a taxi. "1025 dori street please, and make sure to step on the gas a little bit more." jisung asked the driver in hopes of not getting a handful from his supervisor. the taxi took about 30 minutes to get to the company, and jisung was not feeling it today.

as he walked through the doors and swiped his brand new employee ID badge to get in, he went to the elevator and someone was already in there, but he didn't mind that. he was about an inch taller than jisung with dark red hair, wearing a black dress shirt that tightly fit him, revealing his build.

the red-haired man looked at jisung before pushing the button to close the door while jisung was still outside the elevator as if he couldn't care less that there was another person that was needing to use the transportation place to get to work.

"are you serious? god i hate people like this." jisung scoffed, but before he could go to the next elevator, the door opened, revealing the man he had just seen crossing his arms, narrowing his eyes at jisung. he didn't know why, but jisung felt a shiver down his back, which made him quickly turn away and go to the next available elevator.

after a minute, jisung reached his offices floor and went to his desk, hoping to be not conspicuous to his boss, but unfortunately, his plan had failed

once jisung finally made it to the floor where his office was, he was met with a voice "where were you, mr. han?" he said, jisung looked up to see the voice, which came from a taller man with shoulder-length black hair. he slowly looked down to his hands, which were fidgeting with his watch "there was a lot of traffic this morning." he lied through his teeth, mentally praying his supervisor let him slide

"don't let traffic make you late, jisung. if you are stuck in traffic then consider getting out of the car and walking here. it's just your first day, so I'll let it slide, but don't let this become a habit for you." the supervisor scolded him. jisung let a sigh of relief when he said that. he didn't wanna lose his job on the first day

jisung scoffed mentally before jumping hard when his coworkers shouted, "good morning mr. lee!" as jisung turned, he had seen the red-haired man from before, and this time, he had gotten a much better look at him. he was absolutely stunning, but too bad for his not-so-stunning first impression

"goodmorning mr. lee, the files you asked for have been printed and your client scheduled a meeting today at three-thirty five pm," his colleague informed the man "I've also printed out the list of interns and new employees for you to look at. their resumes are in a folder with the list."

"thank you, put it on my desk in my office." he had replied to her before slightly turning his head. jisung couldn't tell what he was thinking, but from his facial expression, it wasn't something good.

the man seemed to have noticed jisung as he had slightly tilted his head and furrowed his eyebrows before turning back and giving his attention to the woman. jisung was confused by the sudden yet subtle interaction, but what he knew was that jisung was starting to dislike him.

minho was frustrated.

with hundreds of files and resumes to go through, he definitely would not be able to finish in a day. this was his least favorite part about his job, going through employee files of interns and new employees while making sure they are qualified and not just some people that his recruiters hired blindly.

but honestly, his train of thought was only continuing to circle around that person he had been seeing all day long. he had never seen him before, unless he looked at his files, which he most likely forgot. but to say he was offended was an understatement. minho was livid about him, and the situation with him made his day even worse than it was already

he was sure the man didn't know he could hear him cursing him behind the doors until he opened the door. to minho, watching him scurry to the other elevator was amusing and a little funny. then he encountered him again, but this time when he was with the assistant supervisor of the group. which minho definitely recognized him then, causing him to react and glare at the curly haired man for a few seconds before turning back

and finally, as he is going through all of these files, he noticed something. he was holding the file of the brunette from earlier. which was minhos final straw. he didn't even know this guy, but he was seeing him everywhere. it's like he was stalking him. which he wasn't. it was just pure coincedence.

minho slammed the files onto his desk and exhaled loudly before going on his phone. he did not want to deal with this today. he was about to text his assistant that he was leaving work soon until his door burst open.

"mr. lee! please do something! one of our workers is being too slow, we won't be able to get the project done and sent to the client with him on our team! please come quick." his employee said quickly, out of breath.

minho sighed as he got up, mentally preparing for this slow worker. but soon, he realized his frustration had gotten ahead of him.
