Have you ever had the perfect first date, well I have not but itcame pretty close. It was just after I had asked Rora to be my girlfriend and Iwas scared because it was my first time taking a girl on a date so it had to beperfect. I remember the day before I was stressing out and running around withmy friends to get everything ready for our date. The next day I was a nervouswreck but I stayed calm and said to myself that this was going to be the bestfirst date ever. I had picked her up at 9 o clock for the first activity whichwas breakfast as Rora would not do anything on an empty stomach. I didn't mindas long as she was happy. I took her to her favorite café which used to sellthe best muffins in the whole area, it was small and not well known but sheloved it. Their muffins were huge and the coffee was amazing, Rora's whole facebrightened up when she saw where our first stop was. We bought our breakfastand decided to sit outside and eat while watching as people walked along the sidewalks. We spoke about the day well technically it went like this, Rora asked me amillion times what would we be doing for the day while I kept saying she neededto be patient. Once we were done there then I led her to the car and told herto get ready for a day filled with fun. I drove for about an hour until we cameto our destination which was a plain building, Rora looked at me suspiciouslythen looked around and asked if we were in the right place. I laughed and gotout of the car then went to open her door for her, we walked in and she was inawe at the interior. We were actually at a pottery class which was for couplesso I thought it was perfect since we were dating. The class had started andfrom the start, I had no idea what was going on but Rora on the other hand wasmolding her bowl perfectly, I looked at her and gave her a pleading look as ifto say help me which I think she understood since she left her work and came tohelp me. she asked me to scoot a little back and sat in front of me, she tookmy hands and guided them as the table turned but my focus was on her. I wasmesmerized by the beauty, her face was so close that I could see the lightfreckles over her nose and the wrinkles by the corner of her eyes. Her eyeswere focused on the pot but mine were solely on her, I couldn't help myself asI leaned closer to her and pecked her cheek which shocked her as she turned tome with wide eyes and a flushed cheek. I looked at her and gave her a cheekysmile. She asked me to pay attention to the pottery and I replied how could Ipay attention to the pot when the most beautiful woman I have seen is sittingin front of me. she hit me on my shoulder as her cheeks began to turn red. Weeventually made a pretty good pot thanks mostly to Rora as I was as useless asan unsharpened pencil. We took a picture posing with our pot and left the classon to our next adventure. We drove for about ten minutes until we came to anursery with a big sign that read 'ADOPT A PLANT', her eyes lit up when she sawthe sign. She practically ran out of the car once we got there, she lovednature just as much as she loved animals and it shows since her room has moreplants in it than stuffed animals but she could only have specific plants sinceshe could not be near flowers as she would not stop sneezing because of thepollen. I grabbed her hand gently and intertwined our fingers together as wewalked around the different plants and I had to remind her many times that wewere here to get one plant today, we would come back another day to get more.We walked hand in hand all around until we came to a small cactus plant sittingall by its lonesome, Rora turned to me and asked if we could adopt this one. Ismiled and nodded my head as she quickly grabbed the plant and practicallyskipped to the car without me, only once she got to the car did she rememberme. she smiled sheepishly and pecked my cheek as I opened her door for her. Ichecked my phone and saw that I had gotten a text from the boys sayingeverything was set up for me. I got in the car to see her posing with herplant, I acted sad and asked why she didn't want to take it with me. shelaughed and called me a big baby and tilted the phone to face both of us as Iheld the plant, the picture came out amazing. I told her that I had one lastsurprise for her and drove to our last destination, the park. We drove and oncewe arrived she was confused to see very few people there; this park wasn't likeyour normal park with children's swings but the one with a lake in the middle.I helped her out of the car and held her hand as we walked to our spot. I hadthe boys set up a blanket with her favorite snacks and drink with 2 smallcanvases and paint. I was worried that she didn't like it but when I turned toface her all doubts left as soon as I saw her eyes with tears and a big smileon her face. She hugged me and told me that she loved it and was so happy. Iwiped her tears with my thumb and kissed her hand while pulling her gentlytowards the picnic, her eyes lit up when she saw all her favorite snacks. Wesat down and she looked at the canvas, she asked what would we be drawing and Itold her that she had to draw her favorite thing in the whole world. We bothgot our brushes ready, she counted to three and we began. It was like my brushmoved on its own as I just knew exactly what my favorite thing was, she triedto peek at my drawing but I shifted away from her which made her laugh. We ateand listened to music that played from my speaker as we drew, she wanted toknow what I was drawing so I tried to give her hints but she could not get itso she said she would wait. We spent about an hour and a half on our drawingsbefore we were done. we played rock, paper, scissors to see who would go firstand I lost all three games. I turned my canvas to her and hid my first tooscared to look at her reaction until she took it from my hand. I had paintedher just as she was sitting now, focused on her painting with a smile on herface and her eyes twinkling with delight. She hugged me with a big smile on herface and told me she loved it and I was never getting it back, I laughed andsaid she could keep it as I had many more drawings. Her cheeks turned red asshe tried to cover her face with her hair while I laughed at how cute she was,she turned her canvas to me and I was shocked at what I had seen. She hadpainted a picture of us, it was when I was hugging her as we made our pot. Itwas so vivid and beautiful that I had no words to say until she laughed at myexpression and said I looked like a deer in headlights. We spent the rest ofthe evening joking and enjoying each other's presence, it was getting late whenwe decided it was time to leave the park. I had packed everything up while shewas looking at the sun setting, we began walking to the car when Rora decidedto take a picture. We both posed while I held the phone since I was taller muchto her dismay. The first picture was of both of us smiling, the second picturewas my favorite it was of her smiling at the phone while I was looking at herwith a huge smile on my face. As we walked to through the park it began to getchilly so I took off my jacket and hung it over her shoulders to which shesnuggled into it, that was the most adorable thing I have ever seen. We gotinto the car and I started driving her home, on the way she fell asleep so onceI came to a stop light I put my jacket around her in case she felt cold anddrove on. Once we arrived at her home I didn't want to wake her so I went toRora's side of the car and picked her up then carried her gently, her motheranswered the door and awed at us while she ushered me inside. Her mother led meto Rora's room and I laid Rora on the bed with my jacket on top of her thenpulled her blanket over so she was nice and snug. I placed a kiss on herforehead and quietly whispered a goodnight to her, I said my goodbyes to herparents and left feeling over the moon at how our first date went
