2. "Hello Wildcat"

I fucking hate this society.

Why? Because the people in our society have nothing better to do other than poking their nose in other people's lives.

And why am I angry? Because apparently I got a demand from my dad which I never want to fulfill in my life.

Since both of my best friends are married now, my dad wants me to get married too.

I'll be turning twenty six soon and according to him, this is the right age to get settled with my partner and start my own family. But what he doesn't understand is that I don't want to get married.

I am happy being alone. I am happy being single.

I don't understand why this society can't accept a person's choice of not getting married.

As per them, a person, especially a woman is only completed & happy after getting married & having kids.

Like, how is happiness concerned with a person's marriage?

I have seen people getting married & fighting all the time but not getting a divorce. Such couples not only suffer themselves but traumatise their kids too. I have seen people losing their own identity after getting into a toxic relationship. Are they happy? No.

It's high time that people should understand that your happiness shouldn't depend on other person but on yourself.

And my happiness depends on myself and my work only.

If I ever want to have a kid then I can simply adopt one and be a happy single mother. Sounds perfect right?

But it didn't sound perfect to my family. And now I have one more fucking headache to deal with in my to-do list and that is, finding myself a fake boyfriend. And why so? Because....

Flashback (few hours ago)

"What did you do again, princess?"

"I designed a few outfits for the upcoming New York Fashion Week and-"

"Princess!"

I sighed when he didn't take the bait.

"What did I do, Dad? I simply showed an old unprofessional bastard his right place. That's it!"

"Cursing is a bad habit, Vani!"

"Fine Dad! But I didn't do anything wrong. I mean how can someone be so unprofessional to insult the person with whom he wants to start a project. Especially when your company is on the verge of getting ruin. He should've used his brain rather than using his tongue."

I finished and he sighed.

"I'm not talking about you exposing him. I'm talking about killing him."
