I blink waking up slowly, my legs tangled with Justin's and his arm draping over my side. We've been in Brazil a full day and... A half? Apparently. I glance at the clock seeing it was actually 1pm. Guess my sleep pattern hasn't worked itself out yet.

Wait, Dubai is five hours ahead of... I'm not even going to try and understand why I'm only waking up now.

Justin and I haven't left the little pool house since we arrived as anti social as that is. We had been too busy reacquainting ourselves with one and other (if you catch my drift). Avo had stocked up the fridge with some fruit and other things as she probably knew this would happen. There was even a bottle of wine and a few bottles of beer.

I laughed my ass of last night when I asked Justin what he wanted last night. He wanted wine for the reason that he's 'grown now'.

The fact that his reason for wanting wine was because he was grown surely means he's not grown?

I slip out from Justin's soft grip feeling the soft air from the air conditioning brush my skin.

I slipped on some high waisted shorts along with a loose shirt onto my body and shove my feet into some sandals. The ground was too hot to walk on but I wasn't going far, only a few metres. I wrote on a loose piece of paper explaining to Justin that I was just going I to the house and if he wakes up to go in there.

I knew my grandpa and my Avo were both desperate to meet Justin. Technically Avo had, but not properly because he was pretty exhausted then.

I open the door quietly slipping out and closing it softly behind me. My feet hop over across the hot stones which had been roasted by the sun all morning until I got to the main patio area. I peel the sliding door back and feel the cool air surround me rather than warm stickiness.

"Nice to finally see you," Avo smiles stirring something in a pan on top of the stove.

"Let the kids live Fran" My grandpa chuckles, his head buried in a book making me giggle softly. He's always on my side, or any of the kids side.

"Ola Grandpa" I smile widely taking him into my arms and hugging him tightly. He chuckles rubbing small circles on the middle of my back as I peck his cheek.

"How is work Char, I hope you're working hard!" I smile lightly taking a seat behind the kitchen island as my Grandpa look at me his eyebrows slightly raised. His English was...limited which was the reason for the fairly blunt question. He expects everybody in my family to work hard, never take anything for granted. He prides himself on his work ethic and I admire him so much for that.

"It's good, a little quieter now because everybody is going home for summer. I think I'm going to South Africa in a month or two." I explain thanking Avo quietly as she places a bowl full of fruit in front of me. Work had been kind of painful to be honest.

After the Miami incident I didn't turn up for a week and waited until Alex actually came to my apartment explaining how I actually did still have a job. I avoided him at all costs until Carter came back from his Honeymoon with Lola and forced us to be civil. Then from that point I feel like Al had been over compensating, doing all the things I hated to do for me, giving me the best jobs etc. I try to ignore the awkwardness as much as I can.

"Rafaella is out with her new boyfriend." Avo giggles a cheeky smile on her face I look at her slightly wide eyed.

"She has a boyfriend...what?!" I thought she would've told me!
