MISTAKES DEFINED US.

The infamous saying has judged characters, given meaning to relationships and was used as per convenience to shift blame.

Tonight was a night of mistakes.

A nagging voice in the back of my mind kept reminding me of the wrongness of the whole thing, but somehow, it just felt right.

Being in Nicolás' arms, having his lips over mine and basking in his warmth just felt right. Maybe the alcohol had finally dissolved all of my resolutions and left me bare for taking.

We had managed to find ourselves in one of the rooms situated above the club. Without paying any mind to our surroundings I dropped myself to my haunches, trying to unbuckle his pants.

"Aren't you desperate?" He cooed before scooping me up in his arms. My mind swivelled to the side, unable to fight gravity.

He threw me on the bed before getting on top, just staring.

I stilled, unable to read the emotions in those jaded eyes. Because of the light behind his head, his face was shadowed, giving me absolutely nothing to work with.

"Why did you stop?" I croaked, trying to prop myself on my elbows.

He contemplated before answering. His brows deepened as he hollowed his cheeks out, the sharpness of his face fading.

"Are you on pills?"

I shook my head.

"I have never really done this before, so being on pills seemed meaningless." A sober part of my brain face palmed itself.

He blinked, "You're virgin?"

My cheeks flushed as I averted my eyes away from the man on top of me, "Is that so hard to believe?"

I squirmed under his intense gaze, the fluttering in my stomach subsiding as a new wave of embarrassment washed over me. I tried to get up.

"You know what, I'm just going to go-"

But before I could attempt to get away from
Nicolás, his hands shot out to pin me back against the mattress. He pushed one of his knees in between my thighs, spreading them.

"Now, where do you think you are going?" He hooked my wrists together, holding them over my head.

"What are you doing?" I squeaked, a sudden thrill igniting my bones. The apprehension that had grappled me in its tight hold began to unwind. Slowly.
