hello1234577564  request: 'Could you do one where Donte is asleep and he hears Jay screaming and whimpering then he calls Erin and she comes over and when she does Jays sick in the bathroom and it's up to her to get him back to sleep'
A/N: this is the lead up to the request.

Donte PoV
I was in my 3rd lesson of the day.
Diego: you coming to the district after school?
Donte: yeah I have to go to med for a check up first
Diego: what time?
Donte: erm 4 I think
Diego: cool
Miss Dylan: boys less talking and more working
I put my head resting on my arms on the table.
??: can I take Donte?
I looked up and it was Hank
Donte: what's happened?
Hank: come outside and I'll talk to you
Donte: is it dad? Did he get shot again?
Hank: Donte
Donte: please just tell me
Hank: grab your stuff
I got my stuff and left the class.
Hank: I'm gonna take you to the district cause Will is not home but you have to stay in the break room.
Donte: what's going on?
Hank: let's just get to the car
We got to the car and I got in and he began the drive
Hank: jays been kidnapped
Donte: what?! How could you let someone take him? Why was he alone?!
Hank: he was undercover and the suspect figured out that Jay wasn't who he thought he was. He found the wire
Donte: anyone told Erin and Liam?
Hank: yeah. Liam is at home
Donte: why can't I go home?
Hank: I know what would happen. You'll get mad or overwhelmed and lash out and that's not fair on Liam.
I just sat there zoned out. we arrived at the district and I just went to the break room. I got out my phone and tried ringing dad but it went straight to voicemail. So I started recording messages.
Donte: dad it's Donte please tell me you're okay.
Please be okay. I can't lose you.
Dad please call me if you get this message. I need to know that you're alive.
I walked out of the break room and everyone was crowding around Antonio's desk. I could hear dad screaming. I peeked over and dad was hanging from his arms and someone was tasing him. They kept punching and tasing him.
Donte: oh my god
Hank: Donte

I ran out and went to the firehouse. I went to Kelly's quarters and he was doing paperwork. I knocked on the door and he answered. He was just standing in front of me. I lunged towards him giving him a hug and just broke down crying
Kelly: what's going on trouble?
Donte: dad he erm he he got kidnapped and I saw a video and they were tasing him and punching him. They were really hurting him. He was screaming in pain.

Kelly PoV
I could see him getting worked up and it always ends the same way.
Kelly: okay let's calm down
Donte: what if they can't find him? What if they're too late or he's too hurt to be fixed? What if he dies? What if...
He started staring off into the distance and his hands were rubbing against his trousers and his face was lightly twitching. This lasted a few seconds before stopping then going into another. They were on and off for about 10 minutes which means he's gonna have a tonic clonic seizure soon. He came round
Kelly: let's go to mine and we'll have a movie night okay
Donte: mhm

We went to my car and I drove home. Donte sat on the couch.
Kelly: you want any lunch?
Donte: just a smoothie please
I made him a smoothie and passed it to him. Within a couple minutes he had drank the whole thing.
Kelly: good?
Donte: mhm you're the best at making smoothies. Dad always messes them up somehow
Kelly: what do you wanna watch?
Donte: insidious
Kelly: set it up
I sat beside him on the couch and he put a pillow on my lap and laid down. We began the film until Donte started asking questions
Donte: kelly?
Kelly: what's up?
Donte: do you think dad's gonna be okay?
Kelly: I know everyone won't stop until they find him
Donte: have there been any updates?
Kelly: not yet kiddo
We carried on watching the film and I felt his breathing even out. My phone started ringing and it was will
Kelly: any updates?
Will: they have a lead on a location that they're gonna check out
Kelly: hopefully he's there
Will: how is Donte?
Kelly: not good. He got a little overwhelmed and he went into an absence. They were on and off for around 10 minutes.
Will: okay just keep an eye on him. If he needs to bring him to med
Kelly: okay.
Will: I'll come after my shift
Kelly: alright. You want me to make him dinner?
Will: yeah
Kelly: you gonna...
All of a sudden Donte started seizing. I stood up and put the pillow under his head. I put my phone on speaker
Will: he seizing?
Kelly: yep
Will: okay I'm timing it. How's he doing?
Kelly: he's foaming at the mouth and his breathing sounds weird
Will: turn him onto his side. The foamy saliva should then just fall out
I did what will said and his breathing was getting easier. It was slowing down before stopping completely. After about 10 minutes he began to come around.
Kelly: hey you're okay. Everything's okay.
Donte: d-dad
Will: Donte it's uncle Will
Donte: w-were d-dad?
Will: you'll see him soon okay
Donte: tired
Will: I'll speak to you later
I put the phone down
Kelly: you hungry?
Donte: no. Sleep

I went into the kitchen and started making some mac n cheese.
Shay: Kelly?
Kelly: in here
She walked into the kitchen
Shay: you left early
Kelly: yeah Donte needed me. Jays been kidnapped
Shay: oh shit. How is he?
Kelly: seizure activity has been really high.
Shay: that's understandable
Kelly: you want some?
Shay: yeah sure. Imma grab a shower first.
Kelly: you want some garlic bread?
Shay: ah you know your way to a woman's heart
She gave me a hug
Kelly: get in the shower you stink
She left and I put the garlic bread in. After about half an hour dinner was ready and shay was sat on the couch with Donte laid with his head on a pillow on her lap. I was dishing up dinner and they were both talking
Donte: I know he'll be fine but I can't stop thinking whether this time will be the one that takes him away from me forever. I mean he's been shot I don't even know how many times and has been kidnapped like 6 times.
Shay: your dad. He's indestructible.
I walked in and gave shay her plate
Kelly: I've dished you up a plate if you want it
Donte: no thanks I'm just gonna go up to bed.
Kelly: I'll be up in a second to set up your watch. Imma just finish my dinner
Donte: is uncle Will coming to get me?
Kelly: when he finishes shift which won't be until early hours
Donte: okay
I finished my dinner and put the dishes away. I went up to where Donte was and he had fallen asleep. I carefully lifted his arm so I could get his watch and I added mine and shays contact details. Now we will get an alert if he has a seizure. His watch detects seizure symptoms such as abnormal movements or heart rate. I went back downstairs and I messaged will
Kelly: hey Will, don't worry about picking up Donte he's fast asleep he'll be fine. You can come and get him in the morning
Will: sorry haven't been in contact. They found Jay. He's in the hospital but is being released tomorrow.
Kelly: that's great. How is he?
Will: he's a bit beaten up but he's okay
Kelly: is he well enough to look after Donte?
Will: yeah he's fine
Kelly: I gotta go I have shift in like at 3
I ended the call and went to bed.
