Killer (Gevherhan Sultan) Chapter 5 [my story]

Dear Diary,

Today I finally came back to the Capital! I was greeted by my family, my father happy to see me, my mother a bit disappointed in my husband's sudden death, and all my brothers there. They haven't been sent to Sanjaks yet. Hanzade was visiting, and of course Atike still hasn't been married yet. For the sake of visuals dear diary, I will offer you a description of each of my siblings that I met again today.

My half brother Osman was eldest, and heir presumptive to the throne. His mother Mahfiruz died and Kösem, my mother cared for him. Osman was fairly handsome, and had curly black hair and a friendly smile. He was honestly one of my favorite siblings. I was 16, and he was 18 so we were not that far apart in age.

Then Mehmet, who was a little younger than Osman but still got along fairly well with him. Not much to say about him- like me, he was a bit shy but still very intelligent.

Murad- my little brother of 8, he was cute and very protective of his siblings.

My half brother Bayezid was still pretty small, along with Kasim they were very cute.

And finally, my baby brother Ibrahim was the cutest baby on the planet, with his smiling face and always happy.

As for my sisters, Hanzade was a beautiful brunette and Atike was a blonde, surprisingly, so far they have given me a good impression.

Safiye Sultan also came with me, and invited me to her rooms. I am headed there now.
