A Million Gruesome Ways To Die: Headcanons

Here are a few suggestions from our readers, hoo hoo hoo hoo! And we will state why they are possible/not possible.

Hypnotizing someone to suicide: On one side, that would work in theory. Have Barnaby stare into her eyes and have her do something that will send her to the astral plane. But there is a catch: Barnaby has to be directly involved. So if he just hypnotizes someone, they won't be able to attend his party because... well, he didn't have a hand on the thing in general. And he told me that he does not like pushing people to that kind of mentality. He prefers having them either scared or overjoyed.

Wands/magic duels: He would probably use curses and spells aimed to kill/maim. And if there are wands dropped in his manor, look out. He will take a while figuring out how they work. Once he does, whoo! Expect to see a lot of pretty lights! One caveat: He outright refuses to use Harry Potter spells. His exact words are, "I will not aid in someone who is clearly anti trans!" While he is not judgemental, he refuses to aid in something that is aimed to show fear or hatred. He doesn't use wands often because he sees it as slightly lazy. But if you give him any magic ideas, he will use it. He's not fond of Harry Potter, but ironically finds the cast of the original Harry Potter series to be cool.

ASL: If you are hard of hearing or are completely deaf, Barnaby will use his feet to sign and chat with you. And he will repeat his offer in sign language too. Sometimes, if something is worded strangely, he would not say anything because he is taking a bit of time to understand what you meant. This is not a defamation of character and just a bit of a language barrier that he will process :}

Sucking life: He doesn't need dementors. He has potions/poisons for that. And if he really does not want you around, he will absorb your soul into his gem. Or make your eternity a living hell if he wanted to.

Astral Projection: He will give you a taste of eternity with him this way. If you like it, great! If you don't like it... well, let's just say that you are in for a rough time. Because after astral projecting, he will make sure that you can't feel your body as he disposes of it.
