Percy shot up. What?? Why? Aunt May is such a sweet soul. Right? "Wh- why?"
Tony thought for a second. Than another. It wasn't his place to tell Percy what Aunt May has done, (had been doing?) to Peter. Honestly, he had just been hoping Percy already knew. some part of him wanted to tell Peter. Wanted to tell him everything, wanted to just let it all out. He had to tell someone, didn't he? No. He knew it wasn't his place. "It – it's not my place. I'm sorry."
Percy got frustrated quickly. Not his place? Was Tony forgetting that Percy was the one who had been there for Peter all those years ago? Then again, he had no idea how long Tony had been there for Peter. Crap, he thought, how long has Tony been a part of Peter's life? "Ok. It's fine, I understand. I'll ask him for myself."
Percy went to go turn away, in fact, he even turn fully around to walk out the door, now that he had seen that Tony was in a better state of mind. But Tony grabbed his arm. "Wait."
Percy stopped to look up at Tony. "What?"
Looked at Percy, then looked down, then looked back up at him. He sighed, and squint his eyes real hard. "Peter's dead."
