(58) Buffalord solider part 3

I was flying along with the other riders, palico and dragons aside from Astrid and Stormfly to the island the dragon called the "Buffalord" was supposedly at. After Hiccup came into me and Stormfly's nest along with Toothless they explained that thanks to the twins (surprisingly enough) they found a possible location where we might find the buffalord. Eventually we came to a very large island covered by grass... and honestly not much else, though despite its rather lackluster appearance I could sense a large source of bio energy off the coast that was heading towards this island which put me on edge.

y/n / Strax : "hmm..."

Toothless : "huh... for a dragon that cures the scourge I kinda expected where it lived to be... I don't know, a little more... extravagant?"

Hookfang : "yeah, you and me both."

Hiccup : "Now these dragons were supposedly hunted to extinction, so if there are any left, they may have developed a wariness towards humans."

Fishlegs : "which means we have to move quickly."

Hiccup : "and remember, we have less than two moons to find this dragon and bring this cure back to the edge."

Palico : "That's where me and Strax come in. right? Strax?"

y/n / Strax : "hm? Oh! Yes, right, we'll circle the island..."

As i said that the palico translated and i picked him with my mouth, though my attention was still drawn out to the coast while my mind started to wander.

y/n / Strax : what is that... it doesn't seem to be another elder dragon but it's most definitely powerful...

After another few moments the riders and dragons all took off and started searching the island and after another few moments, I rocketed off into the sky with the palico in tow.

*timeskip, Hiccup pov"

We've been flying for most of the day and so far, have found nothing that could point us in the direction of the Buffalord... aside from a stream that it might drink from.

Toothless : "*yawns*"

Hiccup : "I feel ya bud, but we have to keep pushing forwards... tell ya what, let's grab some water from that stream and we'll get back up in the air."

After a few moments Toothless lands and lets me off so we can get something to drink, after taking a few sips Toothless then quickly jumps across the stream and down a small slope.

Hiccup : "Toothless!"

Quickly following after him I jump over the creak at a narrower section and slide down the small slope which to both my disgust and slight shock, I find Toothless sniffing dragon dung.

Hiccup : "what is that?'

Quickly getting on Toothless I go round up the other riders and Dragons, except for Strax and the palico who I haven't seen since we arrived and lead them to where Toothless found the pile where Fishlegs begins examining it.

Fishlegs : "large size. unusual coloration. Hmm... vegetarian diet. Not the remnants of any dragon I'm familiar with. And I know my dragon droppings. It's fresh Hiccup."

As Fishlegs says the last part he quickly takes a handful which he has sniffed up to me and gestured to me which made me groan in disgust.

Fishlegs : "last couple of hours! This dragon is still somewhere on the island."
