The reporter's voice echoed through the airwaves, his words carrying the weight of the recent tragedy that had unfolded within the confines of the facility. With practiced poise, he recounted the events of the past day, carefully omitting any mention of the cooperatives that had been involved.

"As authorities continue to investigate the cause of the explosion at the facility, questions loom large about the safety protocols in place," the reporter's voice intoned solemnly. "Eyewitnesses report scenes of chaos and confusion as the police investigate the root of the problem."

Images flickered across the screen, showing the charred remains of the building and the faces of those who had narrowly escaped with their lives.

Few weeks later

In the midst of the solemn courtroom, with Jay standing stoically as the judge delivered the verdict: death for his crimes. But instead of remorse, Jay only smirked, accepting his fate with a chilling smile that sent shivers down the spines of those watching.

Hanni's hand trembled as she reached for the remote, her eyes burning with anger as she turned off the TV. With a heavy sigh, she turned to face Hyein, her expression a mask of fury as she leveled a death glare at her friend.

Hanni's anger simmered beneath the surface as she turned to face Hyein, her voice cold and cutting. "Have you even checked on that girl today?" she demanded, her words dripping with accusation.

Hyein barely glanced up, her expression calm and dismissive. "Haerin will be fine," she said nonchalantly, her tone indifferent. "She doesn't need us hovering over her all the time."

"You're unbelievable," Hanni snapped, her eyes flashing with frustration. Without waiting for a response, she turned on her heel and stomped out of the room, her footsteps echoing her anger.

As Hanni made her way down the hallway towards where Haerin was, she was stopped in her tracks when she spotted Minji standing outside the room, her expression unreadable.

"Minji?" Hanni's voice was tentative as she approached her friend, unsure of what to expect.

But before Minji could respond, Hanni added, "I was just on my way to check on Haerin. I haven't seen her today."

Minji's expression softened, and she reached out to gently touch Hanni's arm. "You don't need to worry about Haerin right now," she said, her voice gentle but firm. "Leave her be for a day. She needs some space."

Hanni hesitated, torn between her instinct to care for her friend and Minji's advice. But ultimately, she nodded in agreement, trusting Minji's judgment. "Okay," she said quietly. "If that's what you think is best."

"Instead, let's go out for today." Despite the heaviness weighing on her heart, the prospect of a temporary escape was too tempting to resist.

"Thank you, Minji," Hanni said, gratitude evident in her voice as she returned Minji's gentle smile. "I could really use a break."

Minji's smile widened, relief flickering in her eyes. "It's the least I can do," she replied, her tone warm. "Let's go somewhere peaceful, just the two of us." Hanni nodded, a sense of anticipation building within her as she followed Minji out of the room. For now, the troubles and worries of their world could wait.

In her spacious office, Min Heejin sat behind her desk, her expression composed as she reviewed the latest reports. The hum of productivity filled the air, punctuated only by the occasional ring of her phone.

As she delved into the details of the day's agenda, the door to her office swung open, and an employee entered, their footsteps echoing in the otherwise quiet room. With a respectful nod, they approached her desk and placed a file in front of her, the contents neatly arranged and labeled.
