Aria's pov

Playing Lazer tag with my friends had been great. Of course Bella had hurt herself in the first game and had chosen to sit out for the rest of the games but surprisingly Jess was the best shooter on the girls team. She was amazing, and won almost all the games, she had told us how she was born in Texas and how her family all go hunting when she goes to visit and that her father takes her hunting during some weekends.

Jake was pretty good as well since he learned to shoot from Uncle Billy. I was a little upset that Edward and Alice couldn't come, but with their supernatural abilities it definitely wouldn't be fair to have them play against all of us humans and I knew Edward would have hated to sit out with Bella.

It was now the weekend and I would be going over the Cullens so they could celebrate my birthday. Bella was getting ready as well since I had talked Alice and Edward into making it a joint party, since Bella's birthday was on the same day and I felt guilty if I went to celebrate my birthday on her actual day of birth.

Edward and Rosalee were not happy and neither was Jasper. Edward didn't want Bella at his house at all and was angry when I spoke to him about maybe celebrating Bella's birthday along with my own.

As his mate it is very hard for Edward to tell me 'no' and I do feel guilty for using this fact against him to get my way when it comes to something that might make him uncomfortable and Bella's crush on him makes him uncomfortable but he told me he'd just ignore her if I really wanted to share my birthday party with her.

Rosalee was a whole other problem as she didn't even want to celebrate my birthday and she still had this one sided grudge against me for reasons I really don't know. Her husband, Emmett, was very nice to me and was teaching me how to play video games. He says I remind him of the little sister he had when he was human named Emily and I felt so warm and happy that he thought of me in the same way as her.

Jasper was worried about slipping with Bella and her delicious smelling blood being in the room and so close to him. The blonde Texan had told me that while all humans smell good to them Bella's scent seems to be much more potent and stronger. My own scent was a surprise to him as instead of causing him hunger it seemed to relieve him of the thirst. It wasn't that I didn't smell good but for some reason my blood just didn't make him or the rest of the family thirst, with the exception of Edward.

Alice was the only Cullen child that didn't seem to recoil at the thought of celebrating bella's birthday, but Edward had told me she was just happy to plan a party and she really didn't care what she had to do for her to plan the first birthday in a few decades.

I was dressed in a pretty green dress that was a little longer in the back than the front and had off the shoulders sleeves. Alice had gifted it to me and had also given Bella a dress as well.

My curly hair was left down with a braided crown and I applied just mascara, black eyeliner and a light pink lip moisturizer.

Bella was already impatiently waiting for me when I got down stairs and put Ellayla's leash on her.

"Let's go Aria, we are gonna be late." Bella told me as she rushed to put her jacket on and threw my own at me.

"Bella," I called to her with an eye roll "The party is literally for us, and the only party goers are the people that live in the house, I highly doubt we are gonna be late."

She just huffed and rolled her own eyes in return before she headed to her truck without another word.

I huffed as well before heading into the living room where my father was watching another sports game. "We're heading out." I told him as he paused the game to look at me.
