She demanded, the White Queen piece dug into her palm as she looked at the four subordinates.
'The Queen and Geelan are both strong, yes, even for the Lambda children but pick two brutes against each other, and you have one weakened left,' Nozomi told them, moving the free Queen on the chess piece, the White having pawns and such while the Dark King had only one knight, one bishop, and all dead pawns collected by the White side.
'Remember the Biology lessons they taught us on Demons at Lambda? ATP is something Demons and Humans share, and Demons use ATP for rapid cell division for inhumane powers, like regeneration, mutation, and strengthening of the body.' Nozomi recalled, killing the King, and taking it.
'After Depletion went over a certain line in our experiments, powers dropped significantly. Like other organisms, they are living things, having a limit point. Winning battles is the weak point because they use enormous amounts of power at an instantaneous point. No eating, no play.' Nozomi informed before dropping the King on the Chess Board, letting it roll.
'Don't let them eat or drink a piece of flesh or blood. Give them no points for a break. And with that, we call checkmate.'
They attacked and dodged her long, sharp nails, making her let out a 'tch' in annoyance at their intelligence of her attacks.
'I can see it,' Barbara thought, 'Her movements... they're still fast but she's certainly slowing down, just like Boss said. She's severely depleted.'
'And watching from the ceiling helped us get a sense of her. It was spot-on to throw the Geelan Clan at her. In this battle... we'll be the ones to win!!'
They charged as Zazie sliced her cheek, snapping her neck in the opposite direction, making her turn it with a crack. She gritted her teeth while swinging her lengthy nails their way, only to be met with swipes of air, looking back at the sliced subordinates of Geelan with thirst and hunger.
Her internal thoughts were interrupted as they approached her with tiny yet strong bodies in comparison to her and their effectively weapons.
"ZAZIE!! LEAVE YOUR BACK TO US! GIVE IT ALL YOU GOT!!" Barbara screamed as Zazie jumped to her head level, about to slice her eye.
"Don't push your luck," The Queen spoke venomously, her arms growing to a muscle and gruesome size they hadn't wished for.
"BARBARA!!" Cislo screamed out of fear for his friend, seeing her body pierced and hanging upside down as she coughed out blood, her arms hanging weakly. Legravalima unhinged her jaw, exposing her sets of fangs, bringing Barbara closer to her mouth to eat.
