47: A Hero's Burden

Yaze soared above the city streets, his keen eyes scanning for any signs of trouble. He had taken to patrolling the city, determined to use his abilities to protect those in need. As he flew over a particularly quiet alley, a commotion caught his attention. Descending quickly, he saw a group of Villains harassing a woman.

Without hesitation, Yaze dived into action. His Biomorph Quirk activated, enhancing his muscles and sharpening his senses. He landed with a thunderous crash, drawing the attention of the Villains.

"Leave her alone," Yaze commanded, his voice low and threatening.

The Villains turned, sneering at the lone hero. "Look what we have here, boys. Another Hero come to play."

One of the Villains lunged at Yaze, a knife gleaming in his hand. Yaze sidestepped the attack with ease, his enhanced speed allowing him to move faster than the eye could see. He delivered a powerful punch to the Villain's midsection, sending him flying into a nearby wall.

The other Villains quickly followed suit, attacking Yaze from all sides. But Yaze was prepared. His wings unfurled, and he used them to deflect incoming blows while countering with swift, precise strikes. He moved with the grace and ferocity of a predator, knocking out each Villain one by one without causing any fatal injuries.

In a matter of moments, the alley was silent. The Villains lay unconscious on the ground, their weapons scattered around them. Yaze turned to the woman, his expression softening.

"Are you okay?" he asked, his voice gentle.

The woman nodded, her eyes wide with a mixture of fear and gratitude. "Thank you... Thank you so much."

Yaze smiled reassuringly. "You're safe now. Get somewhere secure."

With a wave of his hand, Yaze's tendrils extended from his body, wrapping around the unconscious Villains. He hoisted them into the air effortlessly and took off, heading towards the nearest prison. Upon arrival, he handed the Villains over to the authorities, ensuring they would face justice for their actions.

Yaze continued his patrol of the chaotic streets of Japan, keeping a vigilant eye for any signs of trouble. The cities had become a hotbed of criminal activity, with Villains and desperate individuals taking advantage of the weakened Hero Society.

As he flew above the rooftops, his heightened senses caught the sounds of explosions and distant screams. He zeroed in on the source and quickly changed his course, heading towards the industrial district. As he approached, he saw smoke rising from burning buildings and the signs of destruction spreading through the area.

Landing at the edge of the district, Yaze quickly assessed the situation. A gang of Villains were using their Quirks to loot and destroy everything in sight. One Villain, with the ability to generate powerful shockwaves, was leading the charge. It appeared to be that this Villain was the same one Yaze took down before during the work-study with Kamakiri, Kaibara and Tsubaraba.

Yaze didn't hesitate. He launched himself at the shockwave Villain, using his Biomorph Quirk to enhance his strength and speed. The Villain saw him coming and sent a shockwave his way, but Yaze dodged it with ease and closed the distance in an instant. He delivered a powerful punch to the Villain's gut, knocking the wind out of him and sending him flying into a nearby wall.

The other Villains turned their attention to Yaze, realizing they were now up against a formidable opponent. One Villain, with the ability to manipulate copper, tried to ensnare Yaze with large lines of copper power cables he ripped from the ground with his Quirk. But Yaze morphed his arms into blades and sliced through the metal with ease, advancing on the Villain and knocking him out with a swift strike.
