I was at the Nightly Double with my best friend, Alli, watching some dumb beach movie with no type of plot or storyline at all. A gang of Greasers, four of them, ended up sitting behind us by the concession stand and one tough looking one with bushy eyebrows kept playing with my hair and kicking my seat.

"Are you a real blondie?" The tough looking one whispered in my ear. "Are you real?"
"Cut it out, Dally." A boy with black eyes and black hair spoke up. So his name was Dally...
"Listen up, Dally. If that's even your name. If you don't take your feet off my chair and shut your trap, I'm going to call the police. I ain't scared of some greaser trash like you." I scowled.
"Feisty. Just how I like 'em." Dally smirked.
"Dal, leave her alone." Another boy with greenish-grey eyes said. There was one boy left who hasn't spoke up. In fact, he was staring at me. We made eye contact and I looked away before anything got too uncomfortable. I shouldn't be talking, for all, Dally was harassing me.

I got up and walked to the concession stand. Dally followed me in and got in line with me.

"Can I buy you a coke of some..." Dally started.

I took a drink out of the persons hands who was standing next to me and threw it in Dally's face. He sure was mad. Right when Dally was about to tackle me, the quiet boy came running in and blocked me.

"Two-Bit, what are you doing!" Dally shouted. "You know what? I'm tired of wasting my time on broads like you." Dally walked out and left.

"Thank you." I turned to look at
Two-Bit and grinned. He has been staring at me for a while now and I suddenly couldn't keep my eyes off of him, too.
"My pleasure. It's my job after all to protect special people like you from the harms of Dally." He joked.

He called me special. I couldn't tell if I was falling for this guy I barely knew. But I sure felt awful scared that Dally would come back. I guess Two-Bit noticed the look in my eyes and said, "Dally won't be back, I promise." And he winked.

Two-Bit and I went back to our seats and we sat next to each other. I heard a roar of motorcycle engines after the movie ended to see Tim Shepard standing right in front of me, blocking me from leaving. I've heard of him. My mom told me to stay away from him and his outfit.

"I heard you messed with my buddy."

Tim was buddies with Dally? Oh, this couldn't end well.

"He was bothering this girl..." I totally forgot to tell Two-Bit my name.
"Sydnee." I spoke up.

Tim glared at me. I couldn't hold his stare, for it was burning me inside.

"Just let us go." Two-Bit spoke up.
"You mess with Dally. You mess with me." Tim replied.

Two-Bit and Tim both pulled out their switchblades. I hate fights. I can never watch them or be in one.

"Stop, you two. I hate fights, I truly hate them!" I yelled. "Tim, tell Dally I'm sorry I was so rude. Maybe it will clear some things up."
"Fine, I will." Tim agreed and drove off.

"I'm sorry for getting in that fight." Two apologized.
"It's okay, I know you didn't really want to fight him."
"I was fighting for you. Sydnee's really your name?"
"Yeah." I blushed.
"I think that name is really pretty." Two-Bit said and tucked one of my hairs behind my ear. This boy made me feel something, maybe love. I couldn't tell. But all I know is, I want to see him again. I never want to lose him. He gave me hope that there will be a better world than Greasers and Socs. A world with no worry. I think I might be falling for Two-Bit and I wondered if he was doing the same.
