"Shawna, please, just come to my party tonight," Buck said.
"Why?" I asked.
"Because I'm your brother and I'm asking you too," He grinned. "You need to have a fun night out."
"Okay, fine," I smiled while giving in, "I'll come."

As the party neared, I curled my hair and put on my white and pink dress (shown above) and my white converse. I was running a little late, so I skipped putting on a lot of makeup and went on my way. As I arrived, I could hear "Jack Daniels if you please," playing really loud.

I walked in and saw buck right away.

"Glad you actually came, sis. Didn't think you would pull through," he smiled.
"Just be glad I'm not leaving right now," I giggled.

As I walked deeper into the mob of people, I ran into a boy.

"Sorry, miss," He smirked.

By the voice I could tell it was Dallas Winston. I told Buck about my crush on him a while ago so he must've set this up, thinking I still liked him, but I don't.

"Oh, hey Dally," I said with a little
nervous laugh.
"Why don't I take you to get you s drink, so you'll loosen up a little," Dally pulled me toward the bar.

"I don't drink," I said.
"Well there's a first for everything."

I took a tiny sip out of my beer and put it back down. I tried to not spit out the awful taste of it.

Dally moved a little closer to me and put his hand on my thigh but I nudged his hand off.

"What is it going to take to make you fall in love with me?" Dally flirted.
"A lot more then you're doing right now," I replied.

I know I said I didn't like him anymore, but all my feelings for him were starting to flow back into my heart.

"How about this," Dally pulled me closer to him and kissed me deeply. I kissed back and everything I used loved about him came back.
"When I first met you, I honestly didn't think you would be this important to me," I told Dally.
"Love was just a word before you showed it to me," Dally responded.

That's when I realized falling in love is like jumping off a really tall building. Your brain tells you it's not a good idea, but your heart tells you, you can fly.
