Alex's POV
After I finished the drill, I walked over to my bag to get my water bottle and I took out my headphones.

"That was amazing." I heard.
I turned around to see coach Boone standing.
"What?" I asked.
"I saw you doing some drills. You threw that ball 70 yards." He said shocked.
"Yes I did sir." I replied.

We stood there awkwardly for about a minute. I could tell he was thinking.

"How about you uh...practice with us? Maybe you know we will try it for a day?" He slowly said.
"Really?!" I asked.
"Yes." He smiled.
"Sounds good to me!" I said.

I grabbed my bag and walked back over to all the boys.
He gathered everyone in.

Ethan's POV
We saw coach walking back over with the girl.
As he got closer I realized.
It was Alex.
I couldn't believe it.
I didn't know if I should be excited or nervous.

"Okay guys Alex is going to be joining us at practice for the day. I want everyone in groups of 4. Then spread out and pass the ball around to warm up." Coach Boone explained.
Everyone walked away as grayson pulled my shoulder.
"Be in my group we stick together." He smiled.
Then ryan ran over.
"Can I be with you guys?" He asked. "Yeah." I replied.
Ryan was one of our best friends and was like another brother to us.

"We need one more person." Grayson said.
Ryan began walking over to grant when I stopped him.
"Wait." I said.

Alex's POV
I felt like such an outcast. I wasn't sure who the nice kids were.

I looked around when I noticed ethan was walking towards me. I met him half way. "Uh hey." He started.
"Hi." I waved.
"Do you have a group?" He asked.
"What do you think?" I laughed. "Figured." He laughed back.
"Do you want to be in my group?" He asked.
I was unsure at first not really knowing who was in his group but I realized this was my only chance.
"Sure." I replied.

We started walking over to 2 other boys. "Alex this is my twin grayson and our best friend ryan." He said.
"Hey." I waved.
"Don't worry these 2 arent assholes." Ethan laughed.
"Okay good." I replied.
"So you're Alex?" Grayson asked.
"That is my name." I replied.
He smiled.
"Well you look good in spandex and a sports bra." He smirked.
"Grow up." I laughed while ethan hit him in the chest.

About 2 hours later practice ended and the coach told me I did really good and he wanted me to come back tomorrow to take the written part of the exam. I smiled and grabbed my bag and waited outside for my mom.

Then the twins walked over to me.
"So you're coming back tomorrow?" Ethan asked.
"Yeah I'm really happy." I smiled. "Well you deserve it." Ethan replied.
"Thanks." I said.
"We'll meet up with me in the gym tomorrow we can sit together." Ethan said.
"Okay." I replied.
"How cute." Grayson smirked.
"Stop!" Ethan yelled turning red.
I began laughing just as my mom pulled up.
"Bye boys." I waved.
"Bye Alex." They said in sync.
