"Well there is one thing.." I replied.

"Yes?" He asked.

"Could Ethan be taken out of jail?" I asked.

"What? He's getting in trouble for what he did." He said shocked.

"I know that, but this is what I want." I said.

"Ummm I guess we could drive down there." He said hesitantly.

About 4 hours later, they were able to release Ethan from jail and dropped all the charges. I didn't wait for him though, I just left. I was still shocked that I got him out of jail. There was only an hour left of school, so there was so use in going back. I decided to walk home.

As soon as I got home, I put on some sweatpants and turned on Netflix to watch pretty little liars.

All of a sudden the doorbell rang making me jump up. I opened the door and there stood Ethan.

"Hi." He said breathlessly.

I gave a weak smile while looking down.

"C-can I come in?" He asked.

I hesitated.

"I just want to talk, I'll leave whenever you want me too." He said quickly.

"Okay." I replied.

I led him into our tv room, keeping our space on the couch.

"So I just wanted to thank you. For bailing me out, and making them drop all the charges I don't think I could ever repay you." He said looking me dead in the eyes.

"Y-you're welcome." I gulped out.

"And I also wanted to apologize again for all the pain I put you through. I didn't mean for any of this to happen, I loved the relationship we had before this whole party thing went down. We were getting closer and and I really really liked you Alex. Like a lot, if you couldn't tell from before and my feelings haven't changed if anything, they've gotten stronger because when you weren't talking to me, I realized I needed you. You changed me, I don't talk to Grant or those guys anymore." He explained.

I didn't say anything except look down. He moved closer touching my hand but I flinched.

"Let me take you on a date." He whispered in my ear.

"I don't know Ethan." I replied.

"Please." He whispered.

"I guess. Nothing fancy though just casual." I said sternly.

"Yep...I'll pick you up at midnight." He smiled.

"Ethan what the fuck? What about 8, I'm not going out at midnight." I replied getting up.

"I'm taking you on an adventure." He smirked.

"Goodbye." I said hiding my smile, as I opened the door.

"See you at midnight!" He said running down my driveway.

I closed my door and finally allowed myself to smile.

And it felt good.
